That stag Slim is stylish, Dee!

Thanks, Dee. I think I actually have an old enhanced oatmeal photo somewhere.
I read your post about an hour after my usual bedtime, so I wouldn't have got the cool "case stag" play without help!!! You don't get a lot of opportunities to do something like that! :D

My "watch pocket knife" this week is a Rough Rider dogleg lockback mini-canoe:

My "peanut-like" knife this week is a Taylor-Schrade 18OT Mighty Mite:

As always, I have a small Rough Rider stockman (thanks, r8shell) and a CV chestnut jigged bone Sodbuster Jr (thanks, Bob):

Thank you, Gary! I couldn't pass up the chance at a double entendre. :)

I'll be waiting for an update on that enhanced oatmeal. ;)

"This Week's" picks are all very attractive.

I'm heading to the Adirondack Mountains for a long weekend, with Case into pocket.

You chose the right companion. I never tire of this beauty.

Tina Turner knows how to say it better than I "Simply the Best, Better than All the Rest!"

Superb example of a great pattern,single-spring 2 blades. I have only one of these left now a Smoke Pearl acrylic, after recently giving away the Sawn Bone. That Stag on yours is shattering :D And, let's face it, the minority is often right :D I too prefer a smooth pull over an abrupt half-stop any day

Thanks, Will

Thanks for the kind words, Will! Tina Turner is a gurl I can trust.

I'm loving all the support for the #66 Calf Roper Slim. So how many members does that put us at Dean? Me, You, Alan, & Will. I'm liking where this is headed. Before long, we'll have to get an appreciation thread started for our beloved. :D

But you're not off the hook yet, Will. You can't tell a fellow #66 enthusiast about one and not show it. Where's that beauty?

Back to my Autumn Gold Wall Street today with my new slip.

Back ? Beauties as such shouldn't leave the pocket ;). That's a good looking #99, Alan !

For some reason, I was inspired to carry two Ebony knives today.

Whatever the reason..... it was a great decision ;). Great pairing, Dean !

A couple of feet today, one old, one new.

One old, one new, & both look great.

I've got the new Christmas present for the New Year's weekend.

You couldn't deny that one pocket time if you tried . Fantastic carry, Jeff !

I'm going to have to get a better look at that one, Tony. I'm thinking multiple times a week..... at different angles..... with different backgrounds. :D

Very nice Mitch, love that IXL Barlow

Good to have you back Jack if only until your guests arrive. Same thing here, we seem to have a revolving door around the holidays. Would not change a thing though. Nice daily carries my friend.

Thanks Alan, I wouldn't change it either :)

Very stylish

Happy New Year to our Antipodean members, and I hope everyone else has a very happy New Year's Eve  All the best for 2017 folks :)

I'm ending the year with two knives I have carried a great deal, my Abbeydale Jack, my Knife of the Year, and my buffalo Arthur Wright Lambsfoot

Lot going on here as usual

Jeff Wotta way to start a New Year! That Stag looks grilled:cool:

Guest I've only got a crap picture of my Pearl Acrylic, difficult stuff to capture, but it has a very unusual shield that GEC badly needs to offer again on some other knives. Then you post an EXCEPTIONAL 25! Is that Primitive Bone or something else? Goes extremely well with Barehead, Sheepfoot and the Cloud shield, which I like. Some people seem to have some odd prejudices against it based not on aesthetics but because it is insufficiently 'traditional' Not in my book anyway.

With all these cults knocking about here, we need a SECT :D The Slim Sect. Mind you, it's going to be exclusive as there were not that many 66 slims issued. I believe there are Purple Sage ones and possibly Primitive Bone as well. Perhaps we can enlarge it to the 66 Sect to include the Jacks and Stockman, Bullnose.....;)

Alan That Wall St. is one I continue to admire, I'd like to get one in that bone with Spear master...one to be looked out for. The basic Tidioutes in a Green Bone were also very attractive knives and the lock back is smooth and pleasing to use, a fine carry.

Regards for New Year to all who dwell here,
