• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

For some reason, I was inspired to carry two Ebony knives today.

Dean, in my hurried posting yesterday I missed this beautiful Ebony pair! It is indeed inspirational!

A couple of feet today, one old, one new.

Welcome! Looking forward to seeing you more here on the porch! That Chestnut Bone CV Mini Trapper is a great choice for your 1st Traditional!

Happy New Year to our Antipodean members, and I hope everyone else has a very happy New Year's Eve  All the best for 2017 folks :)

I'm ending the year with two knives I have carried a great deal, my Abbeydale Jack, my Knife of the Year, and my buffalo Arthur Wright Lambsfoot

Jack, I am looking forward to seeing more of those in 2017. A thank you my friend for all you bring to the Porch! :) Wishing you all the best in the coming New Year! :D

With all these cults knocking about here, we need a SECT :D The Slim Sect. Mind you, it's going to be exclusive as there were not that many 66 slims issued. I believe there are Purple Sage ones and possibly Primitive Bone as well. Perhaps we can enlarge it to the 66 Sect to include the Jacks and Stockman, Bullnose.....;)

I am starting off today with a Stag 76 Jack in my pocket. :D

It'll be this one again today, but that may change, because USPS tracking says there's a Peach Seed TC going to be in my mailbox today.

Thanks Alan. The beautiful teardrop is courtesy of Wurrwulf, a very generous gift from a porch friend. Happy New Year everyone.
