One of the reasons the Spear blade is one of my favourites!:D That's an excellent example, and look at how straight and smartly it opens out being in-line with the spring.

You know, that bone isn't exactly poor either..;)

Nor is the photography... Nor is Mercury for that matter...:D

Thanks, Will

Some absolute stunning photos and knives today!!! One of my favorite duos in the pockets on this long awaited Friday! :D

Thanks Will. I can't take credit for the photography or the Mercury as this was Primble's knife and his photo. The knife is mine now and thanks for the compliment.

Mark :)

I looked a bit like the one on the left walking up it! :D

Weather permitting, I am off to York in the morning. Going to have these two with me, both gifts frpm the Legend that is Duncan! :)

Have fun in York! Didn't William Wallace sack York? Those knives are ravishing and so is Sue...lol. Just teasing Duncan ...but she is:D

Good to see ya my friend. You know how to show off in style...I mean show up ;)

That edge is looking so much better now, and you restored the tip. :D

Yep. I really didn't have to remove much metal, just brought up the edge and brought down the swedge a hair. I don't want to try to remove the scratches. A patina will cover those soon. Thanks again!

Thank you for the kind comments Emspop, Gevo, Dean, Paul, Mr. Jack, and Buzzbait.:thumbup::)

Happy New Year to you Mr. Jack. Those are some very nice gifts from down under (aka the end of the earth :D) Hope your trip goes well. :)

Still a beauty Marko !:)

Lotsa pockets today. :)

A handsome trio Sarah.

Fire and Ice
not by Robert Frost

Some say 15s are nice
Some pursue them with heartfelt fire
From what I've tasted of desire
And know of fate
And of course for sanity's sake
I'll let one, at this time, suffice
Trust the holy fire
And the magic of Ice

Lotsa pockets today. :)

Those pockets are filled with some amazing things... Great picture! Great knives! Do you mind if I ask who made your sheath?

It's an APS (Ambidextrous Pocket Sheath) Baron from Diomedes Industries, a forum sponsor.

Here's a clip-side view, from previous days' full pockets:

OK been boasting & showing this off in a couple of other threads, hope you don't get bored... Simple and functional yet extremely well made, delighted with this Crown Lifter. Does it have faults, not that I can find. It will of course look a lot better when the rather pointy jigging has smoothed down after a week or two of carry, my first knife of 2017 and a very promising start. It wasn't expensive, I didn't have to pre-order, get on an angst trip about whether I'm going to get it or not or pay a massive mark up on the 2nd market. It's the same as any other GEC 15 just less sought after-thankfully for me.;)

I hope your next knife pleases you as much as this pleases me:cool:
