Clay Thank you, yes it is of very good quality and not too bulky either.

Gary Appreciate that! I'd recommend one but don't wait too long, the best kept secret might turn it into a high price must have!

Alan I tend to agree, I find the blade a bit underdone when considering the frame. OK I know TB designed it, but nobody's infallible ;) It does come with a Wharncliffe now, wonder if that might be better?

Primble Impressive New York Giant that lock back :D:D

Regards, Will

Six years to the day since I joined BF. This beauty from a good friend is with me today,

ABS Master Smith Jon Christensen slip joint in Jon's own mosaic damascus and carbon dated, 4500 year old bog oak from the Ukraine. Perfect fit and finish, integral frame, mill relieved with jeweled liners, nice pulls and thin. Love seeing that M.S. stamp. Jon made the leather slip also. Have a great Saturday folks!

Sometimes we all get caught up in bigger, fancier, more expensive. And, rightly so. As knife knuts were always chasing the Grail. However, we all own, use, and appreciate knives of all types and costs up and down the ladder. Even these fine Case knives can be considered "upscale" when compared to many others we all own. However, I think they hit all the right spots. Well made, well designed, good looking, and at a fair price. That's enough rambling for now.

Man! That is nice! I had a Boker with old bog oak from Ireland, I think. I gave it one of my sons. The material sure looks great on that Trapper. Super knife from one of the best. Thanks for the view, Kris!

Couldn't agree more and sometimes the more simple or I should say more economical blades I enjoy and use the most .

I'm telling you, it's going to be this Winchester for the next few days at least. What a decent knife, very nice surprise :D:thumbup:

That is a sweet Winchester. Those satin blades look great.

I had Rosie with me yesterday and again today. She's a hard worker! I will have to post a pic later.

Kris the mosiac damascus is amazing, especially on such a relatively narrow blade. AND the bog oak has some of the better striations I have seen.
Home run!!!

these two today...weekend off for me.

I don't blame you.
I would've carried both, also.
How could you choose between such beauty? :)

Nice pair of knives, Dee. Both 'sharp' in their own way.

I'm carrying an older Barlow with the Ancient today (trying to keep it humble).

Thank you, Dean!

Which is which? :D
I can't choose a winner, so you must be doing something right.

Little bit of Stag Over Load today .
72 and 73 in Front Pockets and 92 in Watch Pocket
Had to use the 92 to lay waste to a muffin at coffee with Nancy and some friends

That has to be one of the most impressive combo carry I've ever seen! And thank goodness you had that 92!

Impressive load out there Harry. I have a 92 on it's way but not stag. If I like the ebony Tidioute, I'll have to add a stag one to my needs list!

Well, I think the last time I posted in this thread was New Year's Day! :( I haven't had time to even scroll through the daily posts here the past two weeks, let alone comment on some of my favorites like I usually do. I'm hoping to get back to my "normal" BF habits once February arrives, but until then I won't even attempt to "catch up" (other than to wish Kris a "Happy BF Anniversary" that I noticed while reading today's posts).

I think I WILL try to stop by this thread to at least post a couple of my knives now and then. Here are some I've been carrying for the past two weeks (man, I didn't even rotate to start off this week!).
Alox of the Fortnight is an olive Farmer:
