What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

think we've all been cheered by the encouraging news about Bob :)

What encouraging news about Bob? I just reached out to him a few days ago to let him know he was heavy in my prayers lately but never got a response. Is he ok?

And to stay in topic, my stag 72 helped me hang new shelves today and will help prepare dinner tonight. Pastalaya for my parents and wife.

About the shelves. I had an office that was mine. Then the house flooded and my wife came up pregnant. So we turned my office into a nursery. It used to be a hot rod room. Had cars, my shot glass collection, my computers, my automobilia and all. Since I lost that room to being daddy, she bought me these nice shelves to hang in the bedroom to do whatever I want on them. Don't tell her I was ok moving my stuff to the shop. I'll take it! Lol

Edit: wow that pic sucks.

Spent the weekend at a retreat in a log cabin in Northern Michigan, about an hour further north than I already live ;). Had a great time!

The pond was frozen (did some ice fishing) and I rented why I love Swiss Army Knives so much again. The cabin did not have a can opener and I saved the day with my can opener, which made incredibly quick work of the 10# cans!

The cabin was amazing, built with logs from the property:

Gorgeous pictures, Macchina! I'm quite jealous of your stay in that log cabin. Those Walking Liberty coins are just mesmerising!

Cheers Jack, I hope your Sunday is being appropriate:)

P.S have you had a look over on Edgematters recently? They have a Traditional sub forum now:)

No, I never get the time, but that's good news, I'll have a look Sam

That Davisson looks to be a fine knife, Jack.

...

I couldn't decide what to carry on my way out the door today. I figure Jack's "Ebony and Ivory" suggestion was as good as any.

Thanks Mr. Jack - I am with you - maybe one day. :)

That whittler is one I've been eyeing since they came out. I'll echo your "Go Steelers!", Tim.

I have a weakness for that old Case Red Bone Ron , but I have never found a nice one in the Antique shops . They are just great to look at my friend .

Absolutely love the look of this pattern

GT, my phone won't let me quote for some reason but that jigging on the sway back is superb!

Thanks, rishma and Cannonball; I agree with you both. Here's another photo of the SBJ showing off its jigging.

Nice looking Davison, TF. I like the Shadow pattern, the thong hole and the shield. Pretty cool colors too.
