Here's today's two. The little blue one has the Secret Service badge imprinted on it. An old friend gave it to me.

Now that had to be the guided tour of a Traditional knife enthusiasts dreams...holy mackerel:eek:

Thanks Gev, John, Rdaneel, Primble and of course, Mr JB.:)

It was certainly the Sheffield tour of a lifetime, and one which covered history and insights which would have been unobtainable from anyone else.

Two days ago, I was sitting in a Sheffield cafe, over poached eggs, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms on toast, on my second morning in Sheffield, listening to JB holding forth on the history of the Barlow families, thinking 'I wouldn't trade places with any other knife collector in the world right now!' :D

Well, my Sheffield treasures are all packed off in the post to Australia now and I'm back in Belfast, my home away from home, reunited with my ol' trusty.

And this is what was in my pocket - or daypack actually - this morning in England:

Thanks Clay, Alan, and Shawn. You too Factor, and that photo of the BF knife is the nicest I've seen.

Just arrived today. Had a 'jacked up' tip, which I fixed. It sharpened up very nicely. Very good snap to both blades. I'm a fan of these 3" jacks.

Modified Case CV hunter in sawcut bone and an A. G. Russell stag toothpick that I received Tuesday.

Excuse the picture. It's rainy/cloudy outside.
