• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

What a beaut!

Thanks, Ashearer and Gevo. It's lustily built, razor sharp, and delightful in hand and to the eye. I think it's a Corsican vendetta pattern, but the box doesn't specify.

Thanks, Jack!

I see you're carrying one of my favorites today ^^^^^ (like most days :)).
What do you two have planned today?

(P.S.) How's the symmetry of the stag on that beauty?

Thank you my friend, I thought I'd replied before going out, but I must have not hit the 'submit reply' button :o We've been to Harrogate (North Yorkshire) and Otley (west Yorkshire) today, though my meeting in Otley was cancelled at the last minute, which was annoying :( I think the stag is very well-matched, here's a pic of the pile side

Got this #14 in the mail yesterday. First knife I've bought in a while and I heard that the f&f was a little iffy on some of these. I asked the dealer to check on a couple for me and this one seems to be up to GEC's standards, f&f is spot on and I really dig the dark ebony. Some absolutely stunning knives in this thread, half the reason I need to stay away. My wallet says no and my brain just tells it to shut up 😋

Thanks Jack. Who knew that one of the oldest patterns, a simple jack knife would still resonate. Just feels right.
