What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I most often carry my Case scout jr. Alone or together with another slipjoint or a SAK. Today it rides alone.

Last 3 days have been this Case red Christmas tree bone mid folding hunter... Was a 1 of 300 before I got hold of it; Its now a non locking model-- I took the third liner out, and re-ground the blade flat, and no secondary bevel means its wicked sharp..

Don't look as good as she used to, this will be the third year that it's been my main hard use knife around the last half of December, and gets Christmas package duty..

You do interesting work, Ice Tigre. What great updates to an already festive-looking knife. As a user myself, I really like what you did to bring out the performance of that mid folding hunter--and hard use only makes them look better, like they have a story to tell.

Thank You! I am strictly a user, you should have seen some of the reactions I got from case collectors that have seen that knife. ;)
When i did that, I was absolutely against locks... especially liner locks, and it was a nice exercise in folder re-assembly, so i did what I did. The grind was becasuse i had gotten into scandi style knives, and zero 2nd bevel edges amazed me in their sharpness. It turned out to be a great combination.

That was my first Case knife too... the one that started my love of the brand..

my daily carry is a william henry tawny. it is heavily used on a daily basis for everyday living. my favorite daily carry by far because it is small, comfortable and keeps a razor sharp edge!

Case Medium stockman in Stag, Lost my stag peanut last week and this one found it's way into my pocket.

Today, my TW Ablett Ettrick
After a sporadic purchase of multitools and expensive production folders, I'm really enjoying the variety of Slipjoints, and the character they have when in the pocket...

I actually get more satisfaction out of using, and having my slipjoints show use, than a 400 dollar Tacticool folder.

Boker King Cutter Whittler. Brown bone scales. Starting tomorrow will be on a trip and it will be a Case CV Yeller Peanut for the next week and half.
