• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Love this one...every time I pocket it I'm reminded how perfect the 25 is for me.

What a fantastic set of blades you have there! I'd love to see a close-up of the modified Spey!

I used my belt sander to put a small clip on it, then finished with 400 grit sandpaper and a buffing wheel. (Sorry for the grainy photo: indoors with the flash.)

Good morning Ladies and Gents... beautiful knives here as always--especially that Damascus Bowie! In the same spirit, I'll share some bowie pics from last night's dads' cookout:

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Always great to see your Humphrey bowie! You dads really know how to live. I have not see something like that since I was a kid.

I just had to spend a few minutes drinking in every nuiance of the Andersen and sheath...breathtaking!

Thanks Gev, definitely a lot to take in, the makers involved did a top notch job. Karl is one of the nicest gentlemen, also.

Nice grinds on that Humphrey Bowie, Aias, looks like fun to use.

Phil, that is a true beauty brother.
Let me know if the try out doesn't work out. :D

Admirable spearpoint TC, Dean! Is the object on the upper left a magnifier?

Alox Vic Classic (thanks, Ken)

Thanks, GT. Yes, that is a magnifier (made in West Germany!) It is interesting how often I use it; perhaps because of aging eyes? :) Sometimes people laugh when I pull it out, but they don't know what they are missing - literally.

I've always wanted one of the Alox Classics, but I am addicted to the toothpick and would be lost without one.

How bout' some hot scratch southern corn bread in vintage cast iron

Serve me up some of that cornbread, Gev! Gorgeous.

Totin these in the pocket slip that I made for them.

Great job on that sheath; I especially like the color. Of course, the BF forum knife is a treasure!

Excellent, Dee! Very beautiful sawcut on that TC.

Well, after a week with many hours work, I finally recovered my files off my dying PC and now have a pristine new one to post photos from.

My first current photo in a week is today's carry. The photo was shot in a local garden park (it looks a lot better in the spring/summer).
