What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Patiently waiting for Ryuichi to finish my order, with the stockman in my pocket....

Trying out the new natural canvas micarta combo today. Mudbug and a 77.
Great pair Buzz. Makes me think about a mudbug

These two today,

Montana's own, Bob Crowder, Outfitter model, full polish CPM 154 and Sambar stag; along with a trapper from Rick Menefee. Sheath by Paul Long and the slip by Claude Scott, two of the most talented leather sheath makers around. We are lucky to have them both as members here.

Fantastic Kris: Those are both beauties! And nice leather work as you said.

Yes my knives get pampered but after all they have been very good and deserve it. :D
I think they should get a little pampering Randy!

Taking a cue from Wilsonhome's vine fileworked Dunlap I put this one from Don Morrow in my pocket today. Sometimes you guys help me decide what's in my pocket!

Fantastic Gary. I really have a thing for filework. That is amazing work.

I normally don't care for file work but that knife is  Look at those bolsters...are they called miter cut?

Tremendous works of functional art, Kris! Thanks for the treat:D:thumbup: I can just see that Crowder at work in the woods reminiscent of an old Remington outfitter ad;)

Really nice, Kris! I particularly like the looks of that Crowder.

Thank you gentlemen, much appreciated. Bob does a great job with his grinds, the edge geometry makes this one a real cutter.

As good as it gets, Jake, looking forward to seeing your cattle knife. I love how Ryu polishes his swedges and tangs.

I just received the Dunlap a couple days ago. My first knife from Jim and i could not be happier.

Cool Barlow pic sir :) You inspired me to carry mine today :)

Thanks Jack, hope your internet woes are getting better.

Thanks a lot Kris, it comes and goes I'm afraid. Another stellar pair my friend, I particularly like the Crowder, which I don't recall having seen before

Great-looking filework fellers
