Well done everyone!

Thanks for the comment Gary.

Terrific Rope Knife Jack. Very nice pair Harry and beautiful TC Bob.

I carried these two today. A TC Barlow and a Vic Cadet II.

Have a great day all!

The Opinel mod was more than I intended. I just wanted to reshape the handle a bit, but lack of foresight resulted in this:

So, by necessity, I found myself buying a file at Sears and doing an unplanned blade mod.

A shortened drop point will suit that handle well. I look forward to seeing it.

I've still got these two with me. The Boker and I are getting along now that my thumb is healing. :D

I went with some bling today, a large (Case #75 size) stockman from Rough Rider in brown sawcut bone with worked bolsters.

Gary, that Mam is stock. It's got a bit of up and down blade play so I may try the model without the liner lock. It makes a good kitchen knife and rides in the pocket nicely. It's major problem is that it competes with Opinel.

In December I had convinced my dad to buy a Victorinox tinker as a good work knife, and he loved it so much that he bought his brother one for Christmas, and I guess he must have really really loved it because he ended up buying one for me 😁 I received it just now and immediately put my suspension clip on it and put it into my pocket.

Now I think I may have inadvertently started a knife tradition for the Snyder men ( my grandpa probably started the Victorinox tradition with his love of the classic though )

I really love my Victorinox recruit for its size and everything, but the tinker is only a bit bigger and adds the phillips driver and awl so I'll probably love it just as much.
