My custom scaled Victorinox.
A Vic with bolsters and natural covers is very cool, YellowSwiss! (What ARE those covers? Bone? Wood? Stag? My eyes are failing me.)

Excellent choice!

Thanks, Buzz; getting approval for a scout from such a "Scout Master" as you makes my day!

Today's carry...

High quality pocket contents, Paul. I was glad to see that you eventually updated your signature to reflect Sunday's results! :D:thumbup:

I'm slipping out the door with the BSA knife I won recently in Abbydaddy's generous giveaway :) Have a good day everyone

Very nice, Jack!

Thought I'd posted this yesterday but operator error must have intervened. This was yesterday's carry. We always had gift lists for Xmas and birthdays when the girls were young. It kept them happy but was always predictable. Now they are grown, so a few years ago I said "No more lists. Surprise me." This is one of those surprises from my 22yo daughter. She combed her local antique stores, chatting up the owners along the way. While it will never make a magazine cover it did clean up nice, with a lot of the W&T back. There's a hidden history here I'll never know. Never fails to bring a smile to my face.

A knife from a daughter is the best! Congrats, Bugdoc!

Gary

Thanks so much for your compliment ! The green girl scout is my fav and great carbone mod
...
Thanks, Gev; I know you're fond of Dianne R's knife. ;)
The Opinel mod was more than I intended. I just wanted to reshape the handle a bit, but lack of foresight resulted in this:

So, by necessity, I found myself buying a file at Sears and doing an unplanned blade mod.

Practical pair, Alan! Is the handle on the MAM "stock", or did you refinish it? Looks great in the photo (and the stag on your 25 is phenomenal).

Hi everyone from a new guy!

#74 Heartland Clip with me today.

Welcome to The Porch, CC (The Raven??)! :) That 74 is a looker!

Today I carried a Northwoods Barlow and a Vic Electrician.

Have a good one!

Ken K.
Stunning Barlow, Ken! I like the old cross Electrician even more, though, because it's a more realistic "dream" for me. ;)

Been looking for this one for a while now and it arrived today...thank you Robert for the help:thumbup:

Carrying mine today too :)

It seems that the GEMS were a popular choice today! I had a dose of Vitamin C myself!:D

Paul, pmek, and Ron, those 38 pruners sure are slender, sensuous knives!:thumbup: Thanks for the Orchard Gem "triple play"!

These two! Case Canoe and my newest acquisition, Schatt & Morgan Heritage Series.
Congrats on the S&M, YellowSwiss, but that Case canoe has my undivided attention!!! Impressive, attractive stag bone!

Yowza, Dee!!!:eek::thumbup: Was that hard to find? I'd heard rumors of a Ruple sowbelly last year (I think), but I don't recall actually seeing one, even in photos.

For Old Friends Friday :)

Splendid knife, superb photo, Jack! Enjoy your shore leave, sailor! :D

Jack's mention of Old Friends Friday kind of fits with my knives for this week I haven't posted yet, since a couple of them are knives I carry every day and consider "old friends" (although they're definitely NOT seldom carried, which I think was Jack's original intent/defition of knives appropriate for the "Old Friends Friday" thread).
Small Rough Rider Stockman (thanks, r8shell):

And this LF&C penknife is one of my oldest knives (may be THE oldest knife I own - I should try to settle that question):

Oh boy!,,

Yeah I said the same thing

Wonderful knife Corvus, WELCOME to the porch:thumbup:

What a way to make an entrance. I think those are the best looking stallions.

No special pic today. Same fightin rooster that I've been carrying the last couple days. The member I got it from couldn't bear to use it but I don't have that problem! Such a great knife! And gets screaming sharp!
