  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That's how i like my marbles  How is the walk and talk? Glad that surgeons hand did not crack those covers

The walk and talk is just like a new GEC, perfect. My biggest fear was cracking that 100 year old bone
I remembered the movie Happy Gilmore........"Just tap it in, just tap it in".....lol :D

Wow Mark!!! Such a great vintage knife my friend, great job bringing her back. Have you ever lost your marbles???:D

Nice Dean:cool: I've always eye'd those smaller Case Scouts, I'm gonna pick one up someday:thumbup: what are your thoughts so far?

Nice knives all!

Thanks for the comments Jack and Gary.

Beautiful Lloyd Stag Peregrin. I can't believe I didn't mention it in my last post. Terrific Pioneer Pt-Luso and another great Lloyd stag VCM3.

I carried these two today. A GEC 25, thanks Will, and a CIL advertising knife.

Went and changed out of jeans and boots to shorts and bare feet.
M. Klein&Son 3 3/8" rope knife
2 1/8" cutting surface.
Cattaraugus 2 15/16" pen knife.
Almost perfect. But has a ding just about in the middle of the main blade.
To make it go away would be 90-95% of blade left. I ain't willing to do it.
1 7/8" main blade 1 3/16" secondary.

Kool Kopper KaBar, Anthony! Thanks for the link to the Monty Python sketch that I'd forgotten; much hilarity at breakfast this morning. Archimedes definitely has some skillz! :D (Believe it or not, my wife and I watched youtubes of the Holy Grail Rabbit and the Holy Hand Grenade before I went to bed last night!)- GT

Monty Python is brilliant! And thanks... Kopper is definilty Kool... it makes for a great little food prep knife when I'm on short hikes with my kids.

My newly reground fightin rooster and me in the shop today.

Apparently a 5.0 at 11:1 compression and 13 psi don't like a plug gap of .40. Glad they on top the motor!

Let's decipher: Ford 5.0L V8, 11.1 piston compression ratio, and 13psi from the blower. Surprised she'd run at all, gap be danged;) Don't let that beauty get sucked in!
