What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Engaging pic, Dean! I like the little cutouts to access the openers; have you found the tools useful?

This week, I'm carrying a Rough Rider medium trapper:

a Rough Rider electrician:

and a Rough Rider cannitler in my watch pocket:

Thanks, Gary. I like the little cutouts on my Case Scout, too. Of the tools, I have only used the blade and punch, although the screwdriver/bottle opener has been eyeing my electrical outlet screws.

Those Rough Riders are really good looking! And quite impressive when you show three of them at the same time.

This one got stuck in the drawer.

The good news is that I'll be carrying it now, as I had originally intended.

A gorgeous TC and it's great you are carrying it!

At home (like I am now with a killer cold), this Barlow has the place of honor on the end table near me. Schrade Cut Co.

Nice knives all!

Thanks for the comment Gary. Thanks as well for your comment tomsch. The 92 in ebony is one of my favorites.

Gary, as you pointed out, I will still follow the red/black theme. I guess it's just my favorite combination.

It's a Vic Pioneer and a 2010 forum knife today.

Have a good one!

Not many of them around Alan. It's very similar to the #66 Calf Roper Jack, but it is not serpentine. Just a straight equal end cigar pattern. Very simplistic, yet a touch refined in it's own way. Sometimes simple is just best. ;)
I just cleaned it up, sharpened and oiled it today.

So many fantastic blades here. Bob, that Pony Jack is stellar! And GuestWho101, that red soup bone Barlow (I think that is what it is) is stunning. I try not to get too obsessed with "grail knives", but that Barlow would sure make the list.

Here is my rather modest offering to this thread today. The Bullnose has been getting quite a bit of pocket time and is starting to develop a bit of a patina, though it might be hard to see in the pic.

After cleaning out globs of jeweler's rouge from between everywhere, removing fluff & buff gloss, "assisting" with a bit of patina, and putting an edge on the blades, this ole Case now looks and cuts like well-made, reasonably cared for 50 year old knife. It does to me, anyways. :o

Fantastic photo of that beauty, Dee!

Gorgeous! Great job. Today must be Red soup bone Tuesday!

Some wonderful knives being posted by everyone. I am running behind on my posting. I need to just retire and spend more time on the forum. :D
I got this one in the mail Friday. I dropped it in my pocket an haven't looked back since! CASE Small Copperlock in CV and Yeller Delrin. ;)
