Holy Smoke that is one fine looking blade! It's true there are some fine knives carried here but this one is exceptional!

Worthy of a name a name IMO. Excalliber comes to mind but that one is taken. 'Little Sting' perhaps? I will not complain if you want to practice your photography skills on this one as long as you post the results here. What a treat! I am smitten.

Thank you for the kind comments on The Lloyd Trapper Kieth ,

That is such a cool shot Stryker...very cool, especially from a land were we are not allowed to own guns( apart from hunting ).

Campbellclanman,

Thank you. I honestly can't imagine not being able to pack a piece every day. I walk out my back door and shoot whenever I want. I grew up in NY and there is no way I will ever live back there. It must be a beautiful place down there and I lived in Hawaii for many years so the ocean is VERY tempting...but the gun laws in places like NYC and Hawaii are pathetic to say the least. I'm too old for people to be telling me which part of my life they can control. I retired from the Marines and moved into the mountains a few years later!!! Peace and quiet and people tend to mind their own business. Thanks again for your kind words.

Very nice pocket dump Stryker, I'm moving from Australia to Idaho permanently so I look forward to getting back into sport shooting (used to here before the bans). Even carrying a knife legally will be new to me :D

What type of cigar you sparking up? I'm a pipe smoker mostly but dont mind a nice cigar once in a while.

No problem there at all Sir , in fact I would love to take a few days off and show my bladebrothers just what a great place we have here if you are ever passing through...that would be a real pleasure, you would just have to leave the gun at home, But I am sure there are a few people here that we could get to squeeze off a few rounds somewhere to get your fill in :D

Sitting here and watching the weather and thinking what I have to do today. Also thinking about what to carry. Might be this guy.

Gents, let's please not get sidetracked in this thread and get into off topic discussions of U.S. and overseas gun laws, which region of the States is better suited to knife or gun carry; or pipes, cigars, lighters etc. etc. We can take these discussions up either privately or in "Carl's Lounge" which was provided for just such a purpose. Thank you.

Spent some time working on the bevels and edges yesterday so back in the pocket today:

John Lloyd: Gunstock Jack (3 3/8", 52100)

I'm totin' a Case Tony Bose Tribute Sowbelly. SS seems like a good choice for a tropical storm/hurricane. Stay safe everybody!

Wouldn't a canoe or gunboat be more appropriate? ;)

You can never go wrong with a sowbelly...one of my favorite patterns.
