XLnt bone on that I*XL Barlow, Dee!
3 knives I'm carrying that I don't think I've posted yet this week:
an Otter work knife (overkill, but I enjoyed pulling it out to slice some grapes for my oatmeal this morning)

a Case Sodbuster Jr that I always carry (thanks, Bob)

and a Rough Rider small stockman (thanks, r8shell) that I also carry every day, and even had the opportunity to show off in a class yesterday when Euler and his Identity happened to come up!

That's a mean looking saw. Have you used it, how is it compared to a sak saw?
The wood saw is very good. Maybe not quite as spectacular as a SAK saw, but still extremely good for its size. I certainly don't feel shortchanged in moving from a Vic Farmer to a Camillus C4.
It's looking like a Mighty Fine Friday by all the fine knives being posted by everyone today!I received an alert on my cell phone yesterday that influenced my carry for today!
I personally think that Smooth Rotten Nanner Bone and a Houndstooth Shield is going to be mighty fine on the 48 Improved Trapper.

I just touched up the edge on my Mercator with a stone that belonged to my wife's grandfather. I think it must have belonged to his father before him, I'm not sure how far back it might go. The box appears to be rosewood, and is carved to fit the tapered stones top and bottom.![]()

YES!!!! Total agreement🤙
Ron, I'd say that one you have there looks awful nice, as well.Lovely jigging and color on that bone. I like the fact that Mike's SFO's, although Northfields, will have satin blades, although I'm not a huge fan of the rotten banana bone. I'm curious to see what the jigged bone on the standard Tidioute and Northfields runs will look like.
I've been carrying my Speaker Jack since it came in the mail this week.
