What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I hope you feel better soon Jack, Noro is Nasty!

Carrying a few things French today...Probably our last taste of Spring for a while, we have 20° temps coming up later this week then I'm off to China (and knife free) for the next week.

Thanks my friend, I think I may have jinxed myself by remarking last week that I had been lucky to escape it so far. It seems to be very common here these days. My girlfiend is a college lecturer - and a germ magnet! :(

That's a great pic :) Safe travels

I have been wanting single Wharncliffe blade knife lately and was looking at that knife the other night. After seeing your picture and the low price point I think I'll go ahead and buy one tonight.
This one is one of my favs. I lost my first and normally I would move on from there but I missed it so much I bought it a second time.

Nice keen Kutter r8shell, looks like a #14.

For me today.

Nothing fancy today. The wife and I are both down with whatever this funk is that's been going around, so we both called off from work today. Slipped this little Schrade 12OT in the pocket of my pajama pants while piddling around the house this morning.

Thank you, it's very close in size to the #14.

Feel better Jack!

Beauty r8shell!

I have a suit-and-tie day so no pocket fixed blade. I bought this queen to give to my nephew as his first but he is still a little young, so I take it out for a spin occasionally.

Thanks. That's a beautiful Barlow. I'm sure you're taking good care of it for your nephew. :)

I hope everyone stays healthy in this cold/flu season. I'm just getting over a bout with the flu, myself. Not 100% yet, but compared to last week, I feel great! It makes you really appreciate keeping food down! :D

Thanks Tom, what a lucky lad, that's a great-looking Barlow. Your photos are usually very simple compositions, but you always capture the contents really well :)

Hope you continue to feel better r8shell  I'm looking forward to that!

Today is "old yeller day". The only thing better than a smooth yellow delrin Case knife in your pocket is two. These things just take me back IMO to a much simpler and better time in life.

Wooden Wednesday : Hibbard , Spencer , Bartlett & Co and a Robeson Electrician's Knife

GT : !!!!! I could not find that Catalogue again that had the Old Russells in it , but I had a note that leads me to believe that it was from 1901 .
That one you picked out could be a Grail Knife for me .

The Drover ( I like using that name) keeps finding it's way back into my pockets. It has a great grind/edge. What a slicer. Looks great, and has a punch !
It sure checks off all the boxes.

New 13 congress whittler. Normally not a fan of square bolsters in the pocket, but it just keeps going in
