Don't you just love it when that happens.
Yep. It may be a long wait for more, but there WILL be more.
Love that orange Davidson. Can you say a bit more about it? Is it a custom / one off? Thanks for sharing.

That's typically referred to as a corset shield. That's a special knife SVT. The shield is very interesting, it almost looks like a woman's dress.

I've also heard it called breastplate and sowbelly shields. Not sure why the last one. It is one of my favorites. And Todd accentuates the waist area also which really makes it stand out to me. Double bomb is my second fav. LolThat's typically referred to as a corset shield.
Man I love that deep red jigged bone on the bottom one.
Hope you feel better soon and can start enjoying food again, Ron. That spearpoint ebony TC looks like it could definitely have effective medicinal powers!

That's a sweet sowbelly, Jeff! Model MR359? I need another stockman like I need a hole in my head, but it IS a sowbelly, and ram's horn!Yeah, the Marbles are real horn and come in several patterns. Here is the sowbelly.

Thanks, Harry. I'm VERY happy with both those canoes.I guess I just read too fast . It still looks good though .
The real Stuff does look better yet .
Harry
Thanks for the kind words GT. The blue sleeveboard is a 79 workhorse, got it in a trade recently and I love it. Think of it as a more pocket friendly sunfish of sorts, it excels at its namesake. No bias on the chestnut sodbuster, they are just fantastic. Few knives have such magnificent bone that are currently produced. Your rams horn marbles is mighty fine.
By the way you made me look up meritorious![]()
Thanks for the kind words, Paul. I've admired the Workhorse Whittlers, but I don't think I've ever noticed the 2-blade version before; that big spear, small sheepsfoot blade combo is ideal! I hope "meritorious" means what I thought it did.Toting this beautiful workhorse again

High-class higonokami, Jack! Thanks for the compliments. Thanks pal, it seems to be a feature of modern life unfortunately, my friend, his missus, and their 3 young kids all had it a few weeks ago, felt really sorry for them. I'm feeling a bit like The Creature From the Black Lagoon right now!![]()

Nice line-up GT
I got an RR Trapper in the 'Ramshorn Bone', and thought they did an excellent job of it. The real stuff looks great on your Marbles Canoe GT

Reminded of this one yesterday, by a post in the non US thread, I've slipped this wee Ohta friction folder into my pocket today:thumbup:

That's a dreamy knife!
Thanks, WK.I'm loving the ram's horn, guys. I wish we'd see more of this on GEC/Queen/SM knives.
Power couple, Alan!
Hey, welcome back, Greg! That's a fine Craftsman for a fine craftsman.Jack, I hope you're feeling better soon.
I've had this one for a few weeks but only this morning had a chance to put it to the stones. Still some work to do, but the main is plenty sharp to earn it its inaugural carry today.

As usual, you have super stag, Gary!...
A pair of stags for me today.

Holy Mother of Pearl, Gev! That pearl and ebony combo is sophisticated!
Congrats on another stunning Black Box Winchester, Will!A Whittler came knocking, had to let him in.

Fabulous knife, Bob; that's red bone to write home about!
That blue Farmer is a stunner, Tom! Thanks for the favorable comments on my knives this week. Believe it or not, I'm seriously considering picking up a puukko or a least a Mora in the next couple of weeks. Don't think I'll actually carry it, but I could see sitting on the back patio on a nice summer evening with a sharp fixed blade and a stick that needs transformation! Thanks GT! The day I see you post a fixed blade I will consider it a victory for the dark side. Happy hunting for your barlow, that is half the fun. (I might be able to help you out there, I'll check over the weekend
)
Never seen an Imperial like that, cool knife. Love the blue pruner too

Definitely a Trail Commander, Dean!
Congrats on the red Robeson, Paul. If you're going to carry that red and a blue Workhorse, do you have a white knife you could add to make it Flag Day in March?...
This came in the mail today and I really like it. Will pair it with the blue Workhorse like Paul's carrying today for my carry tomorrow

What a fantastic phrase, Joey! I'll admit right now that I'm gonna steal that from you sometime and use it to describe some knife of mine!... The walk and talk is more like song and dance!

Simple and simply awesome, YS!
Lovely pair of Northfield Barlows, Harry!
Jack, I hope you're feeling better soon.
