What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

As usual terrific knives everyone!

Thanks for the comments Gary.

Very nice pair JustinR and pair of Pumas Peregrin.

Today I carried a Schrade 980T and a Vic Poineer Settler.

Have a good one!

My father-in-law once worked for Albany International, back when they were Albany Felt, after he returned home from the Korean War.

The closer you look at this old knife, the more beautiful it is.

I love Dutchess County. Beautiful country and towns as well. I'm very close, living in Columbia County. It looks as though all of us who think of New York as home are shouting out today.

I don't know Buzz, I'm down on Long Island. And even from here, it looks good.

It looks better and better, the further you travel Upstate. [emoji6]

Beautiful pair Gev

Thank you, my friend. Hope you are well this fine day, well evening for you :D

It was never home to me but I traveled through on business as much as I could ;) You are a blessed man to get to live in the midst of all that beauty :D As a matter of fact, the Eureka jack lived most of it's life along the Hudson in a fine old house... two blocks away. When an old knife ships to me I google earth the house it came from and sometimes ask the previous owner of its history. This one is infused with the spirit of that fine place it was born in :D

Thanks, Gev. Nice pair of old knives. Great pic too.

Thank you so much, Gary!

A Whittler came knocking, had to let him in.

I would leave the door open and a light on for that one too, Will :D:thumbup: It's a pear ( I love pears )!

Yes, early evening here now Gev :) I feel a bit better than yesterday at least! :D I still haven't eaten yet, but am going to try to eat something in an hour or so

Been carrying my new #71 like the one in the photo. Bit of a surprise to me actually that I like it so much. Been tempted to get that Mora.
I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying your new 71, it is a great pattern. I would highly recommend the Mora, it is a beast of a work knife.

Magnificent pair, as usual, Tom! The Primble scout is the one that speaks to my non-fixed-blade soul, of course. ;)

Noble old Barlow, Tom!! Some day I hope to track down a venerable Barlow similar to that (after I retire and can devote myself to the hunt :D).

Thanks GT! The day I see you post a fixed blade I will consider it a victory for the dark side :D. Happy hunting for your barlow, that is half the fun. (I might be able to help you out there, I'll check over the weekend :) )

In rushing to post between some work projects earlier today, I forgot to include photos of some of my knives for this week. I'll rectify that now! :o
Stockman of the Week is an 897UH (thanks, Dean):

Never seen an Imperial like that, cool knife . Love the blue pruner too

That is simply outstanding.
