What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks for the Cadet info, Dean; I think I may have seen those colorful sets of Cadets in a couple of knife shops in Spain when I visited my daughter 2 years ago. That Whip sure looks long and slender like its namesake!

Thanks, Gary!

That's a classic carry, um, Gary!

Carrying this sway back Challenge today, corrected what was a bit of a wonky tip.

Bodacious bone on that beauty, Paul!:thumbup:

I have my Lick Creek Barlow in the watch pocket today.

Put and edge on the cockeyed Camillus and have been carrying it ever since. Doesnt sit straight in the slabs no matter what I try and I cut the long pull crooked :crushed: BUT its super solid, doesnt rub, opens and closes with wonderful snap and is very useful. Might end up being a great beater knife in the end.

Yes! There is nothing to hold me back from keeping it handy and using it anytime I need it. Wont have to baby it. I was trying to recreate my personal "Grail" knife and got close enough to prove to myself that it could be done. I will keep trying!

Stunning selection of fixed blades  :) [emoji106]

My meager contribution:

That is a great combo. I dig that pocket sheath as well.I bought same on a recommendation by Pertinux and it has become an every day way to carry my fixed blade and folder.👍👍🔪

Bill, nice to see the rod and reel. I'm jealous-hard water is just about behind us now up here. My first trip is in two weeks on the Wisconsin River to catch some 'eye and anything else that bites with my best fishing buddy aka my brother. Can't wait.

Almost forgot-nice knife, I like the shield-shaped shield, a novel idea!

Duane, I'll echo Jack's sentiments, nice to see you here and a very nice #13, sleek, slender and very capable cutter:cool::thumbup:

Hi Paul, it's really a sweet slim knife, came sharp enough to please me right out of the tube :) I got the e-mail that they were in, and had forgotten that I had placed an early reserve on it LOL.

Playboyjoe Joe, I had one of those Little Bears on my key chain ring for such a long time it wore thru the bail. Sent it back to Schrade and the put a new bail on the knife and polished the wooden slabs and sharpened it. Finally had to take it off my keys after 911 and I was doing a lot of flying. John

My Sister had this one from approximately 2000
Sometimes I will watch pocket this or the little Case or even a Peanut.

Those look real good together Harry. That stag on the 13 is some of the better ones that came out! It seems like a nice frame. Skipping it though for a scout knife I've yet to find[emoji1][emoji1419]

Thank you my friend . It was what I thought was the best of about 18 choices and the texture runs to 3 of the 4 bolster points . Now and then a guy just gets lucky .
Let me know what kind of Scout Knife you are looking for . I am going to the Badger Blade Show this coming Friday .

Thank you Dean, it's a very solid veteran.

I love the Lick Creek Barlow, it's everything one needs in a compact package. For some reason (smaller size probably) I shied away from the #14's. I have the very same knife and have sat admiring it and just within the last few weeks my appreciation has grown for it.

Shame to let it sit so I'll be inserting it into my rotation.

This Queen made Riverworks Copperlock for me tomorrow:thumbup:
