Thank you Dean and Harry. You're both carrying fine choices today yourselves.
Yes Harry. That's Evan's beautiful handiwork on the Barlow.

I LOVE North Dakota, I love the prairie and it's funny actually because when I was 18 I hated living here. Don't get me wrong, I have always loved the people but the landscape held nothing for me.

When I was 18 I lit out for Denver and the Rockies, I more than likely would've remained there if the state of North Dakota didn't feel strongly about extraditing me back as a result of my stupid actions as a youth:o Funny how life works isn't it?

I've grown to love the prairie more and more as I age. I still love the mountains and what we refer to as the pines (the lake country of Minnesota) near home. But I find such peace on the prairie. From the flat brown and tan tones in the spring to the vibrant greens of summer to the wonderful orange, golds and reds of fall.

I walked my dogs today and snapped a few pics. A new knife just arrived from John (thanks John) a great 2010 #56 Northfield Stag Dog Leg Jack:thumbup:

I have been carrying it in a slip most of the time. It has a few scuffs on the bolsters. It my only pristine knife and I'm finding it hard to take the plunge. I'm do open and close her a lot...lol

Love the pictures and the dogs just make me smile. Mocha is decked out in nice gear and I can see the happiness in both of them:D Thank you

Thank you, Gev. There are a lot of fishin' holes around here. I talked to a guy down in Key West many years ago. He was born and bred there and told me when he was young they would just go out and "drop a string in the water and pull a fish in." That is some fishing!

Thanks Harry, we joke that people shouldn't blink or they'll miss our wonderful landscape:D if you traveled east to west on Interstae 94 while passing through ND, you literally drove past our house:eek: we are approx 500ft from the interstate. There's several exits and a fantastic dinner just in town, would've been neat to buy you and wife lunch my friend:thumbup:
