What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Fantastic Mason Bob. I know he has a huge waiting list. Would love to have one.

Man there's only a few threads I know that move this fast. ;) Beautiful pics guys, we really need to make a calendar for the folks on the porch to download. :)

Here's my traditional carry today 2013 GEC SFO, BFC Congress Jack with ivory micarta and my Lone Wolf/Loveless City Knife. The back pocket sheath was made by a friend and as you can see by the leather's patina, it's carried everyday. I cleaned it once when it was new but I like the way it looks now much better.

I love that Loveless Ted! Very classy!

Great knives and ways to carry everyone:thumbup:

The black Micarta Hay n Helper today:thumbup:

Simple goodness Paul.

Great photo

After yesterday's accident the 55 is gonna be just fine :D.

I couldn't break the spell of the 13 and so I carried both today! You can see how much of a beast the 55 blade is compared with the 13

rockgolfer: Some great looking knives there. Those 13's do kind of put a spell on you don't they ?

Carrying two today. My Davison, which I have pictured for two days and this Whip.

Thanks, Dean!

Another calendar quality photo, as usual.

Thank you, Dee! I appreciate your kind comments about my photography skills.:)

Thanks Dean, excellent pic of your forum knife

Also carrying my Lick Creek Barlow :)

Thank you.

Jack, you have an absolutely perfect and gorgeous LC Barlow!:thumbup:

On vacation with the family, all day is non-stop focus on the girls (as it should be) but sneaking a little late night time to try and catch up on this best of threads. 6 new pages since I last posted, so many cool knives and stories! Paul loved your North Dakota post! Thanks to all that complimented my Heartland, much appreciated. This knife is always one I bring when out of town and overall it's a tough one to beat in my mind

Good Barlow to have on a trip, Drew.

Oh my, that is some quality bone. Dee!

Superb Remington Barlow, Gev! Do you have any idea of the age?

Beautiful knife, Bob! What kind of wood is it?

I have had my favorite carry with me the last couple of days.

Thank you Alan. Nice Whip.

Dean, it's burled Desert Ironwood. If we ever get any sunshine here in New England, I'll take some nicer pics. The wood comes alive in the sunlight.

I really like he Loveless too but it'll never get a patina like this one, it'll always look the same. I guess that'll be like always havin' a like new knife. ;)

Thanks Ron. I think we're long overdue for a chat. ;)

Bob - Yes my friend we are long overdue! My apologies buddy, soon, very soon! ;)

I'm going with this. I like the 38 frame in all its variants, but the Pruner blade, single-spring and Camel Bone works well.

Thanks, Will

Will - That 38 just proves a knife can be beautiful and still be strictly business!

Classic, Ron! All business!

Zambrano blade etch on a knife my daughter got me at his shop in Toledo, Spain (but a Spanish BF member has convinced me the knife was actually produced by the Nieto company)

- GT

Gary - Thank you! Regardless who made it, it is a sleek knife!

Gev - Your Remington Barlow is a timeless beauty! That Sawcut Bone is without rival!

Bob - Your LC is a wonderful knife! Kudos to Mr. Mason for his skill and craftsmanship!

Great knives and ways to carry everyone:thumbup:

The black Micarta Hay n Helper today:thumbup:

Paul - I echo the great knives everyone! ;) The 47 Hay'n Helper is a workhorse of a knife. I have several in my collection, but my most frequently used is Orange Delrin and O1. :D

Today I am carrying my OO 73 Scout. I love this knife and quite frankly could carry it all the time. I bought it very lightly used on the exchange back in 2015 right after they were released. I also bought one from Bob Andrews and one from BigBiscuit and they are both tucked away NIT just in case! After all one can never be to careful!!:D

Tomorrow will start early. The tree guys are scheduled to take down the Hackberry of Damocles before it falls on my house.
I'll be carrying a couple of old trees for good luck.

Both nice Rachel, but that wee pen is fantastic:cool::thumbup:

Thank you, Paul. I bought it in a package with a handful of Bokers that needed various amounts of cleaning and repair. Since it was in good shape, I put it aside at the time and then sort of forgot about it. I'm impressed by how tightly the blades are fitted on this little guy.
