What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today, my humble TL-29 is with me (again). This one almost always accompanies me to work (I'm a marine electronics technician).
Camillus-made, delrin handles, "Xcelite brand" blade etch.

Nice knife Nathan. I like the flat bolster on the end, kinda looks like a shorter version of the doctors knife. I live in Abbeville and it's good to see someone from SC on here. Welcome to the forums.
yes it is an different kind of style. I think there were only 200 of them made with that handel material.

That knife is on my wish list. What's the thickness of the handle? I'm wondering if it is much thinner than the Calf Roper. Thanks!

I would not know specifically Jake but it is thicker than a Case 63032 Stockman and a bit heavier as well. I think I would tote this one much much more if it were a single spring one or two bladed whathaveyou.

This today. A very underrated pattern. It sits well in light weight slacks and works great on apples and buritos.

This John Lloyd single blade slim trapper came today, and it is with me right now at the computer.
Gorgeous stag, great 52100 blade and terrific walk & talk.

Thanks, Keith. For me, the most useful single blade is a slender, pointy clip. This one is gonna see a lot of pocket time!

I love that knife man...
Thank you stryker, and so do I, that being said, I carried a lovely old Easy Opener today, which was gifted to me this very morning by a great knife mate who is one of our bladeforum Brothers- festerfromenzed.
Its a lovely jigged bone, 4 line Camillus, sorry I havent got a photo yet!
Thank you Sean, man I'm lovin this knife, sincerely - thank you.

Guys, let's not look to start using traditional knives as an excuse and means for posting images and generating discussion of off-topic items.
If you want to share info on off-topic matters either do so privately or post in "Carl's Lounge" which was set up specifically for off topic discussion.
Let's keep this thread firmly centered on the traditional knives we are carrying on any given day lest we contribute to its demise.

(That said, please continue to feel free to post an image of your chosen pipe alongside the traditional knife that is your companion on that particular day. Thanks.)

My apologies for going off topic, Elliott! :o

I'm still carrying the imperial scout, atm nothing but that knife seems right so I'll just run with it.

Case mini-trapper in red bone. Love a traditional knife. I can finally carry when dressed up without looking like I'm gonna stab someone.

Elliot, I'll see you one tribal spear and raise you a ....

Ouch!!! Okay, I'm doubling down but if you don't go for my bluff I'll have to fold since it's the last of the Case/Bose collabs I have left:

I can't believe I'm saying this. I call your bluff.

I have a few more. If Bastid gets involved I'm done:eek:
Great knives! I sure do wish I had a tenth of what you got Mr. Elliot.

I'm done in...and I don't mind admitting that you took the hand. (And thanks for the kind words. It was that bastid Gus that got me started on the collabs back in 1999. )

And to keep on topic, I put the dogleg in pocket for the rest of today.
