What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Two days in a row! Love this as a user.

Not THAT replaceable my friend! Take care of it, I really like those Oak Leaf versions from DLT, particularly the White Bone version. It eludes me though.
Fine set of pics too.

Thanks, Will

You are right Will. I think that is why I don't carry my white bone, probably even harder to replace! I've not seen one for sale.

Lol very true.

Waiting on docs decision. He's got a touch of jaundice. So I'm pruning my blueberry dead branches and muscadines. Anxious energy. And the newly back from case cattle knife collab is helping.

Carrying this recently acquired Bret Dowell 'Improved Trapper' today. Measures 3-13/16" closed, ATS-34 steel, Culpepper bone scales.

Nice! Why is it called improved trapper? I thought usually those had a second wharncliff blade?

I want first shot if you ever sell it lol.

Great photo! I love writing by hand, although my penmanship could use some work. :D

Looks like a perfect pair!

Good looking lambsfoot! The wood on that one is particularly nice!

Kids get to pick a sweet cereal for vacations :)

At least you have an excuse. I've got a box of Fruity Pebbles in my pantry, and my kid's not even old enough to eat cereal.

Today I am carrying my OO 73 Scout. I love this knife and quite frankly could carry it all the time. I bought it very lightly used on the exchange back in 2015 right after they were released. I also bought one from Bob Andrews and one from BigBiscuit and they are both tucked away NIT just in case! After all one can never be to careful!!:D

Beautiful knife, Ron. I love the simplicity of the Tidioute trim, the wood and that pattern; it's a perfect combination (and definitely worth keeping backups). ;)

I'm carrying it for him, but I figured a pic of him with his knife was in order. Too soon? Lol

Congrats, SVT! And no, it's never too early. :D I took this photo when my daughter was just a day or two old.

(Now she's 8 months old, and today she learned how to climb stairs; made it up three of 'em all by herself -- with me standing behind her, of course. Guess it's time to put up a baby gate.)

Looks like your knife is defying gravity there! :)

Is that an original PPP TC, Bob? It's certainly a beautiful knife!

I'm not 100% certain Barrett. It is from 2012, but I think they did a couple runs of them and possibly only the first run got the PPP etch. When I got it, the etching was removed. So rather than inserting my foot in mouth :foot:, I'll just plead ignorant. My natural state. :D :D
