Cheers my friend, yes, the lighting changes it quite a lot, as do my simple camera and poor photography technique. That photo is filtered, but the colour of the horn in the image is much the same as how it looks. Here's the photo again, compared to an unfiltered photo of the same knife (with my smaller A.Wright horn Lambsfoot)

Been away for a week and only carried a 73 user. I don't know if it was the pattern or the environment but it was a revelation to just grab it and drop it it in my pocket. Now that I'm home it's almost as if the decision is based on my photography.View attachment 704803
