What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Man, work keeps me too busy for much time on The Porch for 36 hours, and this thread explodes!!:thumbsup:
Here's some of what caught my attention since bedtime Thursday.

Good one Gary. Just when I thought I knew what I liked, I buy a user for one reason and it turns out to be a spectacular all around carry.
I hear you, Alan. I've had so many surprises when it comes to knives. I might phrase it slightly differently than you did to describe my experience: I thought I knew what I didn't like, but once I get an "undesirable" knife in hand I often discover that it has many "endearing features.":confused:

Paul T., that looks like a very versatile pair! Like the new avatar. (But I don't remember the old one.)

...
GT all of your RRs have all but convinced me to check them out myself.
That cannitler I posted recently is one of my favorite Rough Riders, but I enjoy almost all of them I have. If you check them out, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Thanks GT, Michael did a great job--I'll gather up the pics, from rusty old 14" file to 10.5" knife. Stay tuned!
Looking forward to it!

One of my favorite EDC knives, the Trestle Pine Superior

That knife looks real appealing to this old canoe fan - one minor bolster change away from a charming canoe! ;)

This thing still blows me away.

Oh, MAMmy!!! You done good on that one, FBC!

... That's an interesting Muskrat

Like GT, I thought I'd carry a knife our friend Randy Redden sent me today :) Hoping he's home for the weekend

Also carrying a Lambsfoot

Thanks for noticing the "historical" muskrat from Randy, Jack. :) Carrying your Uncle Henry from Randy is a good idea (and I think it's a great knife whatever the circumstances ). As ever, the Big Red One from A Wright & Son is a superlative choice!

After a B&W week, I'm in the mood for some color.

Good idea. Me, too.
+5K on your choice of the Randy copperlock, Rachel! And that glowing ember Case whittler definitely adds some chromatic variation!

STJ in the pocket today...pic from Feb '17.

Great pic, GE Jr! I sure wish those blades were offered on a round bolster knife.

Hey, it's Funky Friday!

That's funky for sure, Glenn!:)

My old Primble hasn't seen the sun in a while. Happy Friday all!

Great to see the Primble scout again, Tom! Is that the standard edge on your BRK, or have you done some reprofiling?

Great photo of your Douk-Douk, ourgon!

Thanks for the kind words my friend, hope you have a lovely weekend :)

I'm having problems with my internet connection at the moment, all my neighbours are affected too, seems they are 'doing some work' down the road  It's a little better than it was yesterday at least

Have a great weekend everyone :)

I'm carrying my anonymous anchor knife today, and (inspired by Bob), my anniversary TC :)

Lovely knife that soup Jack! Is the anchor knife an Otter-Messer?
