What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Not all dirt is the same...:D

That's a 1941-46 Camillus I got with shrunked-up celluloid covers:
I epoxied some blond curly maple to it.

It's holding up pretty well so far

Outstanding way to bring a scout back to life!!!

Great pic travman!

Kindling, chopped... man, I love this Bowie, but I think Lon is making these things out of meteorites, not 1095!

... and then I started working on sling-shot #2. My son has #1; this one if for my third child--she wants to be like big brother. My oldest (soon 10) wants me to make her a bow and arrows... it's going to be a busy summer. :D

Looks like you've got everything covered with those two

I'm carrying my anonymous anchor knife today, and (inspired by Bob), my anniversary TC :)

Two wonderful knives, Jack. I hope your internet gets back up; it can be frustrating. We have periods where it slows considerably - usually when we need it. ;)

Today, I have my Calf Roper Slim and my favorite Vic Cadet.

Harry: I would still rather be where you are, picture posting or not!
I am quite happy where we are right now . Just had some very nice Bratwurst with kraft and very nice local liquid . SWMBO did not want me to take a picture of my Ulster carver . This old Ulster has now racked 3 more countries on the bucket list. Tomorrow , we are headed to Dachau .

Interesting? I was not aware that other maker (s) used the brass anchor. Of course, there are a lot of things of which I am not aware:) Life is easier that way:rolleyes:

Yeah, produced by a number of companies

Thanks a lot Dean :) Yep, that is usually the way

Great to see the Primble scout again, Tom! Is that the standard edge on your BRK, or have you done some reprofiling?

Thanks GT! That is the standard grind, some of mine are a bit more recurve-y than others from the factory:

It's still looking good Tom
