A very sleek knife lambertina. I cannot tell if it's fixed or a folder.

Don't know what I did to upset the Internet Fairy, but I'm getting it from her in spades latelyBeen carrying these two today, my anonymous Anchor Knife, and a Croisdale Fruit Knife in ivory

Ah Alan, you know how to pick them. I have just acquired my first Davison, will display pics when it arrives. (Looks like I'll have to wait through the weekend. Drats!)As promised (or threatened) More pictures of my new favorite ever day carry.

With the coined edge which adds a little class IMO

All these posts on Whittlers convinced me to pocket one today.
Case/Bose ebony lock back Wharncliffe whittler and a Mammoth Ivory/154CM City Knife from Eldon Talley. Recycled pic.

Couple of stand-out knives, Tom!Did you change your background cloth? I think I remember a Lou Reed song from my youth urging us all to "Take a Walk on the Pile Side".
This Marbles scout (thanks, Mike) is listed on my rotation schedule as a bailed non-SAK, but it has no bail, so my schedule needs some revisions!

This Rough Rider marlin spike is listed as "Big Knife of the Week"; I could probably just switch it with the Marbles scout on my schedule - wouldn't be much of a stretch.

My peanutish knife for this week is a Case swayback jack (thanks, Paul):

Sorry to hear of your plight Jack. Technology is great when it works, but when it doesn't, not so much. Very much like your Croisdale. Is the gent related to the knife in any way?

The Anchor knife has so much character to it ! Both knives are wondrous.
Thank you on mineIt is an E.C. Simmons but I don't know who made it. The blades are solid as a rock with hard half stops and open and close
It gets a more refined edge tonight

That's an opulent Opinel, lambertiana!
No need to apologize for carrying an ankermesser, A.L.!Haven't had much knife activity lately (and my latest buy was modern!) so with the ankermesser we go!

Primo Primble, Atiger!Clip blade Primble barlow today...

You're welcome, Tom.
That's a flawless Farmer's jack, Josh!
That's a lot of Alox, Pt-Luso!!Yes I can be considered a fortunate man, in fact I have a collection that I like a lot, being that most of my knives are SAK alox, as you can see from this outdated photo, since they have already entered more ...

Isn't there an old saying along the lines of "Anything worth doing is worth repeating"? Prime pair of pocketknives, Jack!
I hope your migraine has abated; seems like that knife would be good for what ails you!! W![]()
Nursing a migraine today, but my pocket game is on point.
Thanks a million, Mark.Love that Case swayback jack! Beautiful jigging, great picture!![]()
That jack must make you joyous, Gev!![]()

Gev, I never knew that Olive Oil from the Popeye cartoons was a real person!

Thanks for the Case SBJ compliment, Harry.Really like your Swayback Gt .
There is a Waterline just below the top rim . Approx. 7.75 inches in it . No damage for us . We have a generator and that kept the Sump Pump running while the electric was out . People in Burlington, Wi. , 8 miles north of us , are not so lucky . The 2 rivers that converge there topped out at 3 feet over the historical record .
Harry
Congrats on that unique, distinctive knife, Drew!Mail call from South Africa today : ) La Combre

I admire that joint notable pair of Northfield Barlows, Paul & Ron!!
Thanks for the update, Tom; glad to hear that you escaped the worst of the deluge, but sorry to hear about your mosquito woes. Hope you have a good time at the lake near St. Joseph! Thanks for the well wishes GT. We're ok here, just kind of a crummy summer (mosquitos are worse than we've had in years). As Harry mentioned it's much worse in parts of southern WI. How's it been by you? I recall from the old site when we saw people's location that you're in SW Michigan? I'll be headed that way next week for a stay with friends on the big lake, just north of St. Joe.
Yeah, I was sorry to see Colt go; I am very happy with each of my several Colt knives. Happy hunting!Colt went belly up?! Man, I missed the boat again haha
I am sure there are a few still floating around. It will make it all the more fun hunting one down.
Thank you for the kind words about the Kutmaster. I am really happy with that one, with Kutmaster's version of jigged red bone.
Recycled pic of the sheepsfoot MAM.

In the dark before the dawn, I can think that about each knife I have - almost any one of them would serve me perfectly well.TC Barlow: I don't even know why I own any other knivesView attachment 734239
Thanks for the info about your photos, and thanks for the props for a couple of my recent knives.
I fear that I only have space in this post for one more photo. This old Colonial "Beer Scout" with cracked ice inserts covering the liners is in my watch pocket this week:

Ha, got the same vibe apparently! I've had this for a while but first time taking it out. Excepting the sunken pins it's perfect. Such a nice knife in hand.
