Sorry to hear about the migraine but that is a mighty fine knife there.![]()
Nursing a migraine today, but my pocket game is on point.
Alan, I can see why that Davison is daily for you - it's dynamite!!![]()
I am now officially out of pictures of this knife. Need to take some new ones. But, this is my daily now.
Resplendent redbone, Ron; I can see why that's one of your favorites!...
Case Red Bone 06247 from '74. This is one of my favorites!

Delightful denim, thefrank!
Thanks for the informative responses and opinions, Tom.GT, I got my DD on the exchange. It is a sheepsfoot, purchased in France. Your eyes aren't half bad either spotting that in a closed knife.
I agree about fruit flavored beers generally being too fruity. On the other hand a tall cold Weissbier with lemon hits the spot on a hot summer day like little else. Lienie Summer Shandy is that way. (Have one in hand at the moment.) Last night was a Lienie Anniversary Lager.
IMO, leave the GT on the Joker. It's subtle.![]()
I carried my Radio Jack in Wisco last week. Popped a cap on a few Spotted Cow. Thought of taking a photo, but getting up from my lawn chair required more ambition than I could muster.![]()
That Kutmaster stockman is one heck of a knife, FBC!
Thanks for the good word.Thank you, Gary. That is a great mod' on the forum 77 and some really good looking stag on the Colt. I think I am going to have to check out one of those stag handled Colts for myself.
Thanks for the confirmation, Atiger. You're right - the covers are a two-tone laminate composite material that I'd never seen before.
Thanks for the reply, Jack. I often feel that I'm quite close to Bedlam myself!...
Thanks for the thumbs my friendYeah, we've had a pretty good summer so far this year, I took that pic on Sunday at a small village which was famous, in the Middle Ages, for making riding spurs
It's close to the original Bedlam
...
Carrying these two today, my A.Wright Lambsfoot in ebony, and an IXL Serpentine Jack

I welcome your appreciation of the stag on my Colt canoe, Ron.Thanks Gary! Your Colt Canoe has some very nice Stag my friend! A beautiful knife!
...
I'm off to work early on this Wooden Wednesday with my Ebony 79 Workhorse.

Sounds like a perfect family affair, Joey!Oh yessir. The three youngest of the 5 are. As well as my parents and my brother and his 3 kids. It's a loud vacation but all the little cousins can play together. They'll remember it always.

It is difficult to capture the depth of the color on red bone knives.
Couple of stand-out knives, Tom!
Good wood on that 38, sticktodrum!38 Special in Bocote. A really nice knife, it'll be in the pocket for a while.

Wow! That Case whittler and denim Esquire are quite a power couple, r8shell!!!
I can sure see why that stag shadow Lloyd has taken over your pocket, Gary!...
I try to mix it up but the Lloyd has pretty much been my edc for the last 6 months. I give it a break once in awhile but this knife just pushes all the right buttons for me.

That's a LOT of rain overnight, Harry!
That's and attractive Barlow, HST, and the SAK has incredible covers!!!
THAT is a striking knife, FBC!!...

Love that Case swayback jack! Beautiful jigging, great picture!Alan, I can see why that Davison is daily for you - it's dynamite!!
Resplendent redbone, Ron; I can see why that's one of your favorites!
Delightful denim, thefrank!
Thanks for the informative responses and opinions, Tom.That's definitely a distinctive Douk-Douk!
Yesterday, while trying to predict whether my 6:30 softball game was going to be rained out, I ran across a rainfall totals map for WI. Lots of areas apparently received massive amounts of rain; hope it didn't cause you many problems or damage.
Been there, done that ambition-wise, Mike!
That Kutmaster stockman is one heck of a knife, FBC!
Thanks for the good word. The Colt stag folders that were available a while back really did have some fantastic stag for $20 knives; I should have bought more of them. I never saw any vendor than that Hazy Hilltop Cutlery Factory (or whatever they're called) in Tennessee carry them, and now that the Colt folder brand has gone belly-up, I don't know where to look for them other than auction sites. Hope you can find something!
Thanks for the confirmation, Atiger.
Thanks for the reply, Jack. I often feel that I'm quite close to Bedlam myself!Your carry is a praiseworthy pair!
I welcome your appreciation of the stag on my Colt canoe, Ron.Your ebony Workhorse is a pleasantly paradigmatic pattern!!
Sounds like a perfect family affair, Joey!
That's a sweet red bone Case Barlow, Travman!
Couple of stand-out knives, Tom!Did you change your background cloth? I think I remember a Lou Reed song from my youth urging us all to "Take a Walk on the Pile Side".
Good wood on that 38, sticktodrum! The pile side knot is very cool! Your 1-blade 38 reminds me of a toothpick (that's a good thing
).
Wow! That Case whittler and denim Esquire are quite a power couple, r8shell!!!
I can sure see why that stag shadow Lloyd has taken over your pocket, Gary!
That's a LOT of rain overnight, Harry!I can't even identify the water level in the pic; is the gauge totally full? Did you have any damage?
That 1-blade OT peanut is nice; congrats!!
That's and attractive Barlow, HST, and the SAK has incredible covers!!!
THAT is a striking knife, FBC!!
This Marbles scout (thanks, Mike) is listed on my rotation schedule as a bailed non-SAK, but it has no bail, so my schedule needs some revisions!
![]()
This Rough Rider marlin spike is listed as "Big Knife of the Week"; I could probably just switch it with the Marbles scout on my schedule - wouldn't be much of a stretch.

My peanutish knife for this week is a Case swayback jack (thanks, Paul):

Oh man very cool!Yes I can be considered a fortunate man, in fact I have a collection that I like a lot, being that most of my knives are SAK alox, as you can see from this outdated photo, since they have already entered more ...
