This one got the pocket time today. I spent most of the day wrenching on my 59 Plymouth so the 47 really didn't see any use but it had a full day in the pocket. It gets to help hold my beer up at least.

I've been wanting a Sodbuster jr, and have been trying to decide between Whiskey bone and burnt salmon handles. This photo may have tipped the scales...

Yes that is a Sodbuster Jr CV in Whiskey bone handles. The photo was brightened just a small amount but I did not adjust the saturation.
Being thinner than the Delrin versions it carries great in the pocket. On looks, I love how the patina on the blade is starting to match the shield.
Note: I did have the dealer pull out three or four boxes till I found one that the fit and finish was acceptable.

Your comments on Case medium stockman knives reminded me again of how much individual preferences differ; your objections to existing features are all characteristics that make the knives attractive to me. ;) (Now if they made a Texas Jack with round bolsters, I'd join that cult in a heartbeat! :D)
