What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Distinctive Davison, Alan; the blue stripes definitely work, and I'd never noticed the unusual shield before!:cool::thumbsup:

My Alox knife for this week is a Cadet II (thanks, Ken):

My "big" knife this week is an Imperial small sodbuster; not sure why I classified this as "big", since that usually is reserved for knives at least 4" closed :

My "miscellaneous" knife this week is a buffalo horn GEC #85 with EO notch and coping secondary mods (thanks, Paul):

Way to go Gary: The 85 EO EC is really, really my favorite GEC pattern. I know I've said that about others but, this is really it.

Happy Yorkshire Day, Jack! Fine knives to celebrate the day with.

It sounds like a serious holiday!

"I, [Name], being a resident of the [West/North/East] Riding of Yorkshire [or City of York] declare:

That Yorkshire is three Ridings and the City of York, with these Boundaries of [Current Year minus 875] years standing; That the address of all places in these Ridings is Yorkshire; That all persons born therein or resident therein and loyal to the Ridings are Yorkshiremen and women; That any person or corporate body which deliberately ignores or denies the aforementioned shall forfeit all claim to Yorkshire status.

These declarations made this Yorkshire Day [Year]. God Save the Queen!"

Thanks a lot Dean :D

Thanks for the kind words, Jack. I always look forward to the change of pace our vacation provides. :)
Great pair for you, especially that robust lambsfoot!:thumbsup:

...

Happy Yorkshire Day, Jack; that certainly looks like a celebratory couple of knives you've selected! ;)

So good Harry! Knives in real use are the best posts, I think.:cool:

Nice Ron! Love those vipers.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you Alan. That was my 1st Viper. My lovely wife bought it for my birthday in 2014. :)

Vibrant Viper in an interesting setting, Ron!:cool:

Thanks Gary! That photo was taken on the steps of a Cabin located in Red Clay State Park. You can check it out on Wikipedia! :):) Today's carry made short work of several boxes at work. I love these knives!

What a harvest ! Just awesome Taylor's !!

Today I'm carrying a Case Saddlehorn and Swayback in bone stag. I really like Case's bone stag and since Jack Black told us it is Yorkshire Day I took the picture on the photobook of the Yorkshire Dales he gave me. Thanks again Jack Great book.
