What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Where from? We're heading west from NJ in the near future.

Leaving from northern California. If you are going to drive close to bozeman MT let me know! If you are looking for world class trout fishing, my brother is a guide in west yellowstone ;)

I hope your move went well:)

A knife I'm certain I'm not alone in admiring for a good long while. So nice to see a custom ageing gracefully too

Thank you my friend. It's been a blessing to own such a wonderful knife. This happens to be an early prototype, I would love to get a new Oeser, hard to think he could get better but more refined I am sure.

It's a two Barlow day for me.

I really must get the white - handle Enzo necker. Reasonably priced knife that works well and looks good. Also I know from experience they carry well in the pocket and fit my hand.

And great little slicers, right?

I had some of the Black Stuff with a hearty stew and Yorkshire Pudding yesterday :) :thumbsup:

Lambsfoot knives ;) Thanks Tom, those two look great together :) :thumbsup:

Thanks Jack, was hoping the lead Guardian could set me straight. Also that looks yummy :).

It's easy to see why :) :thumbsup:

:thumbsup::)

Fine looking Bokers!
Thx.:thumbsup::)

Not something we see every day:thumbsup::)
haha:thumbsup::)

Looking fantastic, Mark!! :thumbsup::thumbsup: You, and others of your ilk, have certainly convinced me that I've got to seek out one of those vintage Böker Barlows! :rolleyes:

:thumbsup::) Thx. We will find you one!

As I finish packing for my move across a few states, I have the one knife on me I could not get over losing! It's got everything I could ever need from a pocket knife and then some

rockgolfer, That thing is awesome!:thumbsup:

Every time I see those Talons, I am struck by how elegant they are. And that ebony is beautiful. Hopefully GEC can be motivated to do another run in the not so distant future.

It's one of those patterns I wish I could turn back the clock for. I sold mine because the stag was cracked.

Classy Lambsfoot my friend :thumbsup:
Thanks Jack,that Lambsfoot is far more classy than myself. :D

That's very cool, FBC!!! :cool::thumbsup::cool: The butt of the handle is starting to look like brass!?! :confused: Is that just the way the paint happens to wear off, or is it really a brass handle under the black enamel? (I just assumed the handle was folded steel.)
It must just be a trick of the light. That one is definitely steel under that black. Now you have me wanting a brass handled Douk Douk!

For wooden Wednesday

LOL! :D I love the pics of your knives my friend :) :thumbsup:

I'm off to the docs this morning, so thought I'd pair my Needham Lambsfoot with my Winchester Doctor's Knife :) :thumbsup:

Yep, they work like a charm. The size and proportions are optimal for a neck/fixed blade pocket knife, at least for me. And the white micarta handle has the "gentleman's knife" looks. The leather sheath however is not very good for pocket carry so I will make my own when I get the knife.

The scandi grind model is a different beast, much more robust and is fit for tougher chores. Maybe I should get both? ;)
