Nice pair of knives Chip. Is that an AGR Pinched Peanut? I've never seen one in yellow delryn before.
It is, but just bad lighting...it's actually Mammoth:eek:.

Yes I do own a SAK! ;) This Black Alox Pioneer was in my pocket today! :D

That black Pioneer is a winner, Ron! (And IIRC it's not your ONLY Alox example. ;))

Lovely lustrous lambsfoot, FBC!:thumbsup: How do you like the double bolster model? (Was Rosie the only lambsfoot you named? ;))

...
I have these two in my pockets today :)

Cool complementary coloring on that couple, Jack!:cool:

I have just got back from collecting my two blade GEC #14 Lick Creek in Antique Yellow Bone, after paying the equivalent of $28.57 import duty and cycling all the way back from the postal depot way out the other side of town. I have what i call "washed the factory out" of the knife and carefully dried it then given it a couple drops of oil from my Boker Oil-Pen, a gentle touch up on the strop and it is good to go. I had the single blade version a while back but could not get on with it, this one fills the hand a bit more and i think it will be my regular carry for a good while. I can not but wish it came in a Sheepsfoot version though, see we are never satisfied. So that is what i am totin today and very nice it is.
Congrats on your new 2-bladed GEC #14, OMR! Hope it gives you service and smiles for quite awhile!:thumbsup:

Pleasing picture of your Pallares, scruffuk!:thumbsup:

Great looking knives fellas

Another of the beauteous basic Böker Barlows that have been appearing recently! Nice, Steve!:thumbsup::cool:

...
I pulled out the Lambfoot yesterday, and the cold front came in. It's supposed to stay down in the mid 90s f. all week! :D:thumbsup:

Dynamite duo, r8shell!:cool: I often forget how small that Buck 305 (Lancer? Companion?) is until I see it next to other knives.

Have a great day, folks!
Recycled pic of today's carry.

Fabulous knives with all the fixin's, Gary!:thumbsup::cool:

Small but capable

They used to say that about me. High-class knife, oldtymer!:cool:

1975 Case 6383 Splitback WhittlerView attachment 743849
Terrific old whittler, Travman! :cool::thumbsup:

I think it is giraffe bone GT, but I'll have to look.
...
My international carry today:

Giraffe bone - that sounds quite exotic!:thumbsup::cool:
Immaculate international twosome, Tom! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks for the kind words GT !!! That is a cucumber and Nancy was able to can 15 Quarts of green beans from the picking.
I also prefer the Old TEWs Sheepsfoot to have and to use . The newer Lambsfoot is IMO very nice , but it is easier to replace than the old Sheepsfoot . Though they are both very nice to use .
Harry
Thanks for the harvest update, Harry. Your point about replacement considerations is a good one.

Case 6347 Stockman today.

Case Peanut, Pocket Worn Bermuda Green bone, along for the ride as usual. (not pictured).
What a classic Case stockman, John!:thumbsup: That's a spectacular example of how good Case amber bone can look!

I completely forgot to look GT! That IS frustrating :( I get so many blackberries and apples in the back garden, I encourage the neighbours to come and take some. Maybe your neighbours could pick you some grapes while you're away :)

Well it made me laugh GT! :D

There are plenty of people in Yorkshire who haven't heard of it my friend! :D Thanks for your interest, that's a great pic of your Lambsfoot, lovely pile-side :) I had some of the Black Stuff with a hearty stew and Yorkshire Pudding yesterday :)

...
Thanks for your supportive responses, Jack! :) I finished my breakfast only a couple of hours ago, but that stew looks delectable!:p

As I finish packing for my move across a few states, I have the one knife on me I could not get over losing! It's got everything I could ever need from a pocket knife and then some

NWMXMKR.jpg
Good to see that Oeser again, rockgolfer; best wishes for your move!:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks Gary . I am very sorry that you don't like Bone Stag but then again I thought something was a little off with you.:D Hope you know I'm just kidding my friend.
You're not the first to think that about me, Randy! :D:D It's just amazing to me that so many people can be so wrong! ;) It's not that I don't like stag bone; some of it is actually a very attractive cover material (you can see below that I'm happily carrying a Marbles stag bone stockman this week ). But it's like it's "putting on airs" or pretending to be something it's not. ;)

What a pair, Dee!:cool: The jigged bone sheep/pen 15 is magnificent in its simplicity! I don't think I've ever seen a snakewood Vic (Classic?) before!

... If you haven't read The Black Arrow or any of Stevenson's other works, I fully recommend him. (The Black Arrow is a novel that is set during the conflicts between the Houses of York and Lancaster)

VOfIc9f.jpg
Another fantastic foto of Rosie, Dylan (and a terrific choice for phone "wallpaper")!:cool: And I always welcome reading recommendations; Stevenson is familiar to me because of a card game called "Authors" that we played often in my youth, but I don't recall ever reading an original work of his.

...
Thanks, Gary. The Recruit looks very pocketable.
...
Today's carry is my favorite clip primarily because it is so thin and light (and sharp). A recycled Autumn photo...

Noteworthy knife, Dean!:thumbsup: Thanks for the Recruit comment; I bought that one in an antique shop in Northern Michigan, and I consider the Recruit to be the Mother of Red Celidor SAKs. ;)

My canoe this week is a Rough Rider in sawcut bone:

My stockman this week is Marbles stag bone with damascus-etched blades (thanks, Randy):

My bailed non-SAK this week was supposed to be a Marbles "demo" knife, but I carried that last week instead of the schedules Rough Rider scout which had departed in a GAW. But now I have a duplicate RR scout that I picked up to replace the GAW prize :D:

That is a very gentlemanly duo, Dee.

Thanks Dean!

One of my favorite 15's, and SS to boot.
(P.S.) Recycling is good. :D

Thanks Gary!
It's a customized MiniChamp.

Three beauties with covers full of character.

Lancer. Yeah, it's a small knife, alright. While I don't have as regimented organized a carry schedule as you, I have certain preferences. If I'm carrying a large bladed knife, I want to pair it with something small.
