Amazing stag, picturerock!!Using my newest, this Northfield 66 with beautiful dark stag. Sharp as it's possible to be from the factory. Just a pleasure in the hand and to the eye.

Bonus pic of a big-league knife, deltaboy; thanks!
Thanks, Alan!...I like your lanyard. Will you make me one![]()
Valid observation, Barrett; you definitely need one of the boar Opinels!...
I keep meaning to pick on of those up, because the "Wild Boar" engraving (particularly the one in the middle) looks an awful lot like an Arkansas Razorback.

Couple of Case chestnut jigged champs right there, Ted!!Still usin' these two, they've been in my pocket since I took a pic of them last week. They feel so nice, I love the Chestnut bone, it's like a worry stone in my pocket.I thinned out the Wharncliffe blade and it'll split hairs.

Thanks, Tom.Grand photo of cream on the rocks!!
I'm away on vacation this week and next, so my carries are not what my rotation schedule calls for. Instead, I grabbed some knives that earned a vacation, as well as some knives that I've decided are going to be "guinea pigs" as I try to learn how to sharpen with my new DMT Magna-guide system and/or freehand with the DMT diafolds. A couple of the practice knives are a modded Opinel #8 (thanks, Dave) and a new Rough Rider large work Knife/sodbuster:

Great pic Alan!I have to go back to my current passion, which is one my three Davison customs. I carry these because, why not?

Nice one Marty! I like that 74 a whole lot.
Great looking TC Bob! Hope you continue to mend at home!Even tough I'm still recovering from surgery, it feels great to be able to pick a knife each day to drop into my pocket.

Kevin, Love that whittler. You should clean your keyboard though.![]()
Bob Cleaning? That's a fantastic PATINA built up on that keyboard , really earnedGreat knives the Black Boxes, I need a few more.
Today, it's a Eureka Moment, no particular reason other that this is a fine pattern from GEC
Regards, Will

Love that knife, Jake. If it was a wharncliff secondary, it would be about perfect.
Nice whittler! The patina on the keyboard is more ingrained than on the knife though lol
Note to self; go out today and bury my keyboard in the backyard for a year.
Great jigging on the Eureka Will.
No Bob, that's forcing and cheating...patience!
Thanks my friend, it's a favourite of mine, simple unadorned Tidioute and all steel![]()
A year in my backyard is not patient enough?
Kevin, how long have you been working on that natural pateener?![]()
Saw that on The Walking Dead.![]()
Really nice picture!
Thank you Jack, beautiful knife but even more beautiful surroundings, what a view!
Jack, Your pairings with the beautiful scenery always brighten my days.
Thanks, Jack.Terrific trio for you!!

Ah, the acclaimed Abbeydale is back!!
Jack, I was looking at knives at an antique shop near my vacation location yesterday, and saw a little fixed blade with sheath that was marked "Tent" and "Sheffield England". The handle contained a photo of a Canadian Mountie identical to one I've seen on Richards folders. I've never seen the Tent brand before; is it related to Richards?
That's a lovely piece of scrimshaw JP
Welcome LB. That's the coolest Micarta I've seen, a perfect fit with the slip. Has it faded with use or was it like that originally?View attachment 746262 View attachment 746263 Good morning everyone. First post in this section. Hope that I can contribute more in the future. Carrying this 71 Micarta Bullnose today in a slip H&T made special for this knife. I thought it came out great, it actually "Snicks" (?) into place just like a gun in a leather holster. Hope everyone has a blessed week!!!
