L.T. Wright Coyote LE with a D2 blade wearing Snakeskin Micarta handle slabs. Very cool patch knife, and the D2 is taking a neat battleship grey patina here in the mountainous rainforest of Western North Carolina.

Beautiful

I'm going to Sheffield for a few days, and since I'm too clueless and clumsy to do anything more than hit the 'like' key on my phone, this'll probably be me signing out until Sunday. Just sorting out the knives I'm taking with me :)

Hope everyone has a good week, and an even better weekend :)

Very nice assortment of knives, Jack. Have a safe and very pleasant trip! We will see you on Sunday.

That's some excellent Euro-stag on your Lionsteel, Josh!:thumbsup:

Exemplary Case stag on your stockman, oldtymer!:thumbsup:

Here's a new 92 talon from 2014 that I got at the rendezvous. It's a labeled as store model due to the backspring not being airtight (nothing visible from the outside, but light gets through)

I didn't have anything in stag (when they used shields!) and this stag was was quite chubby!

Enticing stag; congrats on the new 92 Talon, Jeff!!:thumbsup::cool: (Must have looked fabulous in that Mercedes (or whatever ) you drove to the Rendezvous! ;))

Thanks my friend, my love of history certainly adds to the trails I walk :) I've just had a quick look, there are quite a lot of Douk-Douk videos, I didn't find the one I was looking for, but here's one where you can see the manufacture
... Great line-up there GT
...
Thanks for the video and the comment on my Cases, Jack :thumbsup:; at some point while I was watching the video, I decided I should sometime try to whittle that little Douk-Douk guy stamped into the handle! :)

...
Thanks GT! That swayback always gets my attention...
...
Wow the Case knives are gorgeous! I love their jigged bone
Thanks 5K Qs 5K Qs ! I'm struggling to pick a favorite out of your Case lineup...maybe the Soddy?
....
I'm a fool for a Case and those are beautiful, GT. Thanks for sharing them.

...
Fantastic assortment of Cases, GT! That Chestnut bone is quite picturesque.
...
I have these two with me again today. It is rather difficult selecting anything else when I have knives like these to occupy my pockets.

Thanks for the encouraging words on my Case chestnut jigged bone "family", Erik & Drew & J_Curd & Stuart & Dylan! :)
I'm really hooked on the Case chestnut jigged bone, although you can see the color isn't uniform across models and runs. I think my favorite color is the darker tone on the Swayback Jack and the Sodbuster Jr that Erik and J_Curd singled out.
Erik, looks like you're getting some work out of your Buck!:thumbsup:
Dylan, those two and your wooden Case are all fantastic!:thumbsup::cool: Great pic of that tremendous trio in the Wooden Wednesday thread!!:cool::thumbsup:

Thanks kinda rocks with that belt I made her too. Water buffalo leather on the belt and the sheath.
You made the knife, too, right? Exceptional work, Dave!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Adding my contribution for the day. ...

Enthralling pair, Dee; I'm especially taken with that rust red White Owl!:thumbsup: Eye-catching, head-spinning photo, too!:cool::thumbsup: (I think I have to go lie down for a while now. o_O;))

Esteemed stockman, Jeff!:thumbsup::cool: I don't know why, but I really like Staglon knives.

Today's carry. Only an Effingham, but sure smells like a real sawn bone Barlow to me:

Looks like an enjoyable Barlow to me, Tom!:cool: (What does "only an Effingham" mean? I obviously don't know much about Cripple Creek!)

Being that I left my entire knife roll in Titusville I'm carrying my dyed TC Sheepfoot originally in Smooth Ivory Bone for the next few days. What a great knife.
...
Hope you get your knives back soon, L.H.S.! The story of your loss and recovery is an exciting tale with a happy ending!!:thumbsup::)

Carried this as soon as I received it .

Congrats on the Lionsteel Barlow, Harry; that ram's horn is electrifying!!:cool::cool::thumbsup:

I had to do this despite the wear on my pocket. Fight'n Rooster Congress 1985 International Cutlery Club knife, #345 of 600. 12 blades!!! All clean, all tight, but I can't photo all and drop them here.

What is that knife, Tom? A later post says it's your first traditional and 40 years old?? Earthy, elderly, and enchanting!!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Unity Lambsfoot and my Squirrel :)

Enduring excellence in that duo, Jack!:thumbsup::cool:

Killer grain on the Houndstooth.
Totally agree with J_Curd about the wood on your knife, Travman!!:thumbsup:

I skipped the abalone this time around, spent about half of my knife budget for the year on these but it was well worth it :). Quite the handsome family, nice family portraits too
...
For Wooden Wednesday:
Thanks for the info and for the props for my Case family, Tom. Grand wood for Wednesday, and congrats on pulling off your "Italian Job"!:cool::D

Same watch pocket knives this week as last week for me (since I'm away from home):
