Thanks for the kind and informative comments, Jack!!

You certainly know a lot more about the history of the area through which you hiked than I know about where I followed a trail!
I don't think I've seen the Douk-Douk manufacturing video; I'll have to look for that.
I've really had few problems with the new BF system, but my "multiquote list" seems to expire or reset after a certain, but unknown to me, amount of time.
Zesty knife, Mark!

Those Böker Barlows seem to be the latest model that's infected me with "see those everywhere, got to get one" fever.
Thanks, Tom. That Opinel #8 does indeed have an antler bead on the fob. My new sharpener is the DMT Aligner with the diafold hones; KME is a bit pricey for a champion of Rough Riders like I am!

Terrific theme picture you posted!

Yowza!!

That's a winner of a spearpoint blade you have there, J_Curd!!

Thanks, Stuart.
Belated congrats, KP!!

Hope the nuptials were noteworthy and that you have a magnificent marriage!

Impressive, Dee; those covers remind me of a book I have in my office:
The Fractal Geometry of Nature, by Benoit Mandelbrot.

Intriguing 73, Harry; congrats!

Nightmarish situation for the tree trimmers!

Fantastic foto, Erik!

Cool; I only noticed the carbon steel commonality.
Stupendous stockman, Mike!

Imposing jigging, Phixt!!

That's very cool, deltaboy!

I have a red jigged bone model like that, but I like your shield better than my standard RR circle shield. I think black mamba calls that pattern a "Eureka stockman".
Congrats, Drew; that blood red 77 Barlow is worth waiting for!!

(Gonna edit your signature with a new WTB, or are you after more of these??)
Thanks, Tom. I wish I had more opportunities to use my knives, but other than ones I use for food prep or for infrequent whittling, my lifestyle just doesn't seem to require much pocket knife use.
That's a top-notch 26, Travman!

Lots of 25s are posted, but there seem to be far fewer 26s that show up; I like the 26s much better I think, just based on what I see in photos.
Superb Böker pen knife, Rachel, and the new Barlow is certainly different!

Wow, Tom, did you get one of each cover on the Lionsteels!?!

Historic (and heavy, I'll bet!

)!

I mentioned that I have my entire Case chestnut jigged bone CV family with me on vacation this week and last. Here they are catching some rays, and protecting their exposed blades in the shade.
