What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

There's been a few Otter Messers around lately, so I thought I'd bring this out for a carry.

Clean, simple, sturdy, elegant.

And at just over 4 1/8" closed, looks like it'd ace the all-important peanut-butter-spreader test too!

Very glad to see something of you Gevo !!!!!!! Hope you are staying Safe and Dry my friend .

Harry

Thank you, my friend ! :) It was not that bad here but Houston and some other areas need prayers. It is the worst I have ever seen in my life ! Epic devastation and on going. So very saddening.

Did you polish the bolsters and if so, how?

Yes I did, WoodManGM. I didn't try to do a mirror polish, but rather attempt to smooth it out a bit. The satin finish from GEC on mine was a bit coarse. I Masked off the blade and all other places I didn't want to get sanded, or get stuff into. I used a piece of 1000 grit sandpaper, followed by another piece of 2000 grit (this is what I had on hand), using 1 or 2 fingers with light-medium pressure. Went cross-wise against GEC's length-wise until I saw a minimum of those original lines remaining. Probably spent about a half hour or 45 minutes total.
