Thanks, Jack & Stuart & Shawn.GT, the multitasking kept me from micro-managing the grill, which was a good thing because it lead to this:

It's awesome that you got to see pictures of the family farm, again! That Scout knife is in great shape!
Very appealing long-pull spear on that sturdy jack, Bob!!
That's a beauteous pair, Harry!
Excellent Böker stockman, P&G!Totin' this one today

Great to see your stag and your unicorn together, gamboling (frisking, cavorting, capering, bounding, frolicking) about the English countryside in late summer, Jack!
Terrific knife, Ron!
Thanks, Tom. That barn I posted hasn't changed very much, and I'll bet I'd have recognized that shot anywhere. The old "homestead" is a different story, though!
Super-cool photo of your whittler, Greg!![]()
Schrade Walden 804 today.
Looks to me like you were facing a no-lose situation, Ted!!Decisions, decisions...
Which BFC Barlow today? '09 Schatt Morgan/Queen in stag or the 2017 TC Barlow?

Thanks for the kind words GT . The Taylors Eye Witness Lambsfoot has Ramshorn covers .I like that classic Sodbuster Jr, H&S!And you have quite the patina developing on the tiny white folder!
Thanks, Jack & Stuart & Shawn.Shawn, that Colonial scout was used heavily for 7 or 8 years back on the farm, but now has gone virtually unused for about 47 years.
That's some tasty-looking Boston butt!
Very appealing long-pull spear on that sturdy jack, Bob!!
That's a beauteous pair, Harry! The Taylor's Eye Witness lambsfoot really grabbed my attention; what's the handle material?
Excellent Böker stockman, P&G!
Great to see your stag and your unicorn together, gamboling (frisking, cavorting, capering, bounding, frolicking) about the English countryside in late summer, Jack!
Terrific knife, Ron!Caution: that knife can be habit-forming (but nothing wrong with GOOD habits)!
Thanks, Tom. That barn I posted hasn't changed very much, and I'll bet I'd have recognized that shot anywhere. The old "homestead" is a different story, though! There have been so many renovations, remodels, and additions over the past 60 years that I doubt if I'd recognize shots from some angles if no one gave me any context.
Great stag on your Euro-Barlow!
Super-cool photo of your whittler, Greg! And it's interesting to see your "spot" with the fog lifted by some sunshine.
Looks to me like you were facing a no-lose situation, Ted!!
Superb old knife, Jeff!
That sounds like an unpleasant surprise, Tom.I hope you can get it cleaned up without much permanent damage.
What a whittler, FBC!! Always a treat to see your Black Box Winchesters!
Congrats on hitting the trifecta, Dee!!!![]()

Nice knife, nice picture. I like the placement of the pin in the "chipped" scale end - skillful creation of uniqueness.

GT, the Sheffield Scout is really cool with both a fish scaler/hook disgorger and a saw. I have a Vic Electrician (the stripper blade is a great cigar trimmer) and a Recruit (mine is a Boy Scouts of America version) and love to carry them, though one is enough for me at any one time (I'll probably eat those words soon).I like that classic Sodbuster Jr, H&S!And you have quite the patina developing on the tiny white folder!

I love my sodbuster, but I won't lie and say I don't wish it was carbon steel. The little imperial has definitely come in handy on a few occasions.I like that classic Sodbuster Jr, H&S!And you have quite the patina developing on the tiny white folder!

G'day Halfstop, what knife is that...78?
Thanks, Gary. I see you are carrying a SAK Electrician. You reminded me that I have been neglecting mine. I will have to remedy that sooner than later. What a whittler, FBC!! Always a treat to see your Black Box Winchesters!![]()
