I remember reading Jaws as a teenager Barrett!Nice 'beer-mat' collection, and what a stunning Rope Knife, one of Charlie's and GEC's finest I think

Great knife and picture, Barret, and I remember reading that as a teenager too, Jack!
Your rope knife rocks, Barrett!![]()
I'm still enjoying my sowbelly stockman long weekend, but I pulled out another knife "for old times' sake" today. One of my sisters sent all the siblings email yesterday with pictures of the farm on which we grew up. My brother-in-law apparently had agricultural business near the old farm last week, and decided to stop by to see what it currently looks like. (My dad sold the farm almost 30 years ago.) No one was home, but that didn't stop BIL from taking photos anyway.(I guess he left his card and a note.) Here's the barn where I learned the meaning of "work"; how's that for Labor Day?
Below the barn pic is a pic of the knife I always used growing up on the farm.

The wife and I after a long hot day at the ranch doing some roping practice. We took Monday off from the shop. Look above our left front pockets:

Hers (bottom left) before she snagged it off our display table at a show. She liked that blue jigged bone handle:

Rainy day here today, so I'm using a recycled pic.

Horsewright Dave, I really enjoy your pics of the daily ranch workings. The horses seem to really be enjoying the refreshment of the water trough.

I still have my #15 Rope Knife in my pocket.

Perfection.
My Roundhead assisted me in prepping these Dove poppers for the grill.
It also helped out as a spike in a tree to hold my squirrels from this mornings hunt for a quick picture.

Thanks Jack! And you thought Michael Jackson invented that one glove deal huh? Roping with a poly rope on a 500lb weaning and then putting the brakes on by wrapping around the saddle horn makes a guy fashion conscious right away. Nichole has her pink one tucked in her belt
Thank you fine sir ! I hope your having a fine day![]()
Great stag on that A. Wright, Jack! How's the thickness of the slabs on that one? (It's hard to tell from the angle, but they don't look too thick.) That's not a bad looking #25 you've got there, either!

I just love those knives. The detail is superb and the Roger's jigging is the best I've ever seen from GEC. Solid Choice. I have a rather large collection of 15S115(s). I gotta get a few of these raindrop DT Damascus to @glennbad .

Charlie's SFO Diamond Rope Knife is arguable his best SFO outside of a TC.
Great to see that Old Ulster again my friend !!!!!
