Well i'm not totin this knife today infact im not really totin any knife today simply because i'm not allowed to have a pocketknife on me at work.
But i though it was traditional enough to show you fellas
(btw this is just a no-brand cheaply made knife they sell at the
construction store where i work)
Hi Kevin, that's an interesting pattern I've never seen. Wire stripper, I'm guessing, built into the tang. What country do you live in?
Too bad you're not allowed to carry a knife at work, the policy seems odd to me, considering you work at a construction store.
Michael
P.S. I'm new here and still figuring out basic stuff like how to reply to posts properly, I somehow got only one of your photos in my reply, oops

Thanks Bob. That 57 Half Whittler is a nice pattern. It should be nice in the pocket! That's a good looking spear Ron.
Wire stripper built into the tang? It looks like a very usable, no frills work knife. Interesting pattern. Too bad you can't carry it, it would be handy for you in your job, I expect.Well i'm not totin this knife today infact im not really totin any knife today simply because i'm not allowed to have a pocketknife on me at work.

Those older flat grind Bucks are fantastic knives JerUsed this a bit today. There's actually nothing wrong with the point, just my photography.

Of course I still had my Kutmaster Tungsten.
Seems like there could be a fascinating story behind this post!?!I just found my grandfathers Magnum 22 so I think I may have to carry it today.

Those are two beautiful knives, i've bin thinking about buying a Case sodbuster with those bone handle scales but im just not sure about it could i hear your opinion about the knife? but never the less i think a sodbuster in general is a really good looking knife.
I agree with what Wayne said.Love those chestnut Sod Buster jr.s - great jigged bone, CV steel blade, perfect size! Everybody that likes pocketknives should have one!

Pretty pair, Barrett!I've got these two with me this morning. I love this #92, but I'm unenthusiastic about the Goldenrod jigged bone covers.

Splendid bone on both Barlows, Rob; that rich, dark color appeals to me a lot! Thanks 5K Qs, It is a joy to carry ! So i got called in to work this morning and paired it up with a Primble India Steel works, I didn't get a lot of work done.

Thanks, GT! Inspired by my son's first day of t-ball!
Thanks, Jack. Thanks for the compliments GT, hope you've had a great weekend![]()

That round shield on a Barlow is rather unusual, but I like it - weird but wonderful!!
Bonny brace of folders, Jack!!
I second the sentiment Stuart expressed in what I bolded above!Best wishes to those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma and to those still touched by the memories of 9/11.
Case pattern 009R and a C+K Lockwood Brothers barehead jack will get me through the day.

Congrats, mbkryan!! I enjoyed reading your little "love story"!This one has hijacked my knife collection. Its pretty much all I carry since I got it about two months ago. My fancy modern knives are getting dusty. My rotation no longer exists. Not sure why I find this one so pleasing to carry and use...

Got this last week, so it'll be carried for a while, I think.
That's a GREAT-looking amber bone mini trapper, Matt!!My bad, I thought this thread was "what traditional knife are you droppin' today"...
Barely owned this 72 hours and it slipped out of my hand onto the pavement! No real harm done, just a couple minor dings on the end. Still, gimme a week at least!![]()
What an impressive, aged pair, Wayne!Ahhh, old redbone Case and an old winterbottom bone Queen - your post made me go looking for these two oldies. Both have much sentimental value to me. Thanks!

Exquisite duo, Gev!!si·ne qua non

Great pics, Paul! Mocha looks mischievous, and the yellow TC is radiant!A prairie walk with our brown Australian Shepherd Mocha. She's a runner so we slowly train up on the prairie without the leash
Carried a favorite yellow Day's Work on a GORGEOUS fall like day

I LOVE that pic of Woody, Bob, especially since he and I must be related. I slept on the living room floor yesterday afternoon in exactly that pose, with a little pillow from the couch!Nice pics Paul. Mocha looks like she has a lot of energy. That yellow Days Work is beautiful. This is how I found Woody yesterday. He doesn't look comfortable, but he's out cold in this pic. Lol

Today is the first day for carrying the 77 Washington Punch knife and the Schrade-Walden peanut. I've decided to try carrying two knives for a while....
ICON, Jer!!Used this a bit today. There's actually nothing wrong with the point, just my photography.

Of course I still had my Kutmaster Tungsten.
Thanks GT, appreciate it. It survived the fall, no big deal! It goes in my pocket with my keys, so the dings will get smoothed out soon enough! That's a GREAT-looking amber bone mini trapper, Matt!!Glad it survived the fall!
I like bone handles and have many more knives with bone than any other covers, but I do worry about accidents and cracked bone!
