Thanks, Rob. I agree it didn't see much use, and even more remarkable, it avoided the dreaded drunk-monkey-on-a-grinder sharpening. Being an inexpensive "boy's sheath knife" the steel is thin. Should make for a wicked slicer!I like the fixed blade. Looks like it didn't see much use![]()
That's even niftier than I thought. Thank you for the additional info, Corn Fed.
I like carrying knives that are older than I am.

Also, I'm toting a new "Flea Market Find" Kent made by Camillus for Woolworth's. Possibly 1930's vintage.

Thanks r8shell. I think I found the one you speak of DSC_1706 | BladeForums.com. Handle shape looks very similar. With mine, the handle opens around the blade. Once the handle is opened fully, the blade is locked in the open position.

Thanks for the reply r8shell.
Nice custom sheath. Where did you find it?
From a BF supporting dealer and a skilled leather worker: Barry Johnson aka Gunstockjack. Check out one of his posts for website info.
The knives are very nice. I really like the Sabot. But that roofer's hatchet is a diamond in the rough. Love the broom/rake handle!I thought I was getting a little obsessed with my Kutmaster Tungsten (TUNGSTEN, Grrr aargh.) So I hid it under the mattress and carried the Camillus stockman and the Sabot queue. (The limber-go-shiftless pocket axe is new today ($5! I couldn't believe it.)

What a salutary pair, Pt-Luso!!Today with my new knife (although old) with the hands in horn of bovine, this Portuguese made by a craftsman from the village of Especiosa-Miranda do Douro, who has the son to continue his work.
The knife in stag is of the son that follows the lines of the father!!!

Seductive knife, Stuart, but I'm shocked to learn it's jigged bone (I'd have said stag in a heartbeat)!I put away the Daddy Barlow and picked this One Arm Man Barlow for today: Case 6205 R from 1973. The scales are jigged bone.

Thank you, GT! I think it's going back in my pocket for the rest of the day. I was carrying my carbon fiber, titanium bolstered LionSteel earlier, since I had to go to the DR. for a checkup and I knew they'd be weighing me, so I wanted to go with something light!![]()
