That was very kind of you. I'm sure your young friend will treasure it.That there squirrel r8shell, is a great little knife. I carried one for ten years straight up until a month or so ago. Tough as nails! I gifted it to a young friend starting a cabinetmaking course, for practicing sharpening, along with a couple of sharpening stones, some good chisels, and a nice Jack plane.

Fantastic couple of knives, r8shell!!Congrats on the "little Squirrel"
; what size is it?? (I have a Squirrel that I'd definitely not call "little", but I'm not familiar with all the options.)
Well-done, Jack!!!
Stockman of the Week for me is a Colt "Black Stag" (stag bone) sowbelly:

Canoe of the Week (and stag/horn knife for this week) is a Colt stag canoe:

Euro Knife of the Week is a "French" Laguiole purchased in Denia, Spain but almost certainly made in China (it's a VERY pleasant knife to use despite its questionable provenance):

It's 3-1/2 in. closed and very slim. I'm not familiar with all the options either, just assumed they called it a squirrel because it's small. If there's a larger version, they should call it a marmot or prairie dog.Fantastic couple of knives, r8shell!!Congrats on the "little Squirrel"
