Hunting season is around the calendar's corner, so it's time to start checking on the gear. Buck Model 119 (circa early 1980's) and Case Pattern 65 SAB Hunter (1940-1964). Both will get carried today, though the Case a bit more. I may use my 65 from 2013 during the season, but I wanted the older one to see some sunlight as a vote of confidence.

Shorts weather moved back into the area so Im back to only carrying one knife at a time and my "two faced" #77 has been my pick.

This knife continues to morph with time and use. The Dark side is getting lighter and the Light side is getting darker...its becoming more and more neutral over time. I bought it thinking it was the perfect knife for a re-handle but havnt been able to talk myself into it. It might still happen, but for now the character of each side is entertaining to me.

Sorry for spamming the same knife but I thought this fog that we've had for few days now would make nice sailor picture.
