What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I love that Pena gunstock.:thumbup:

Took a little time sit outside with a book today and take advantage of the warm weather. It was positively balmy for late November in New England. So balmy that my #72 demanded the chance to lay out and relax. Who am I to say no? ;)

Today I carried a Carl Schlieper Red Bone Barlow with carbonsteel blade with me...

Kind regards

This chestnut deep canyon bone sway back jack came in the mail yesterday and I am carrying it today. The bone looks really great to my eyes and the construction is typical SWB.

Might be a little early yet for Falah, but that is the 2011 Bladeforums easy open jack made for the traditional forum junkies (like myself) by Great Eastern Cutlery. It's a treat all right. Note the Bladeforums tang stamp on the main blade. Keep an eye out for a lottery on the chance to buy one of the few extras that were made. - Ed J

P.S. - The selection process for the 2012 knife has already begun. A poll will eventually be opened to vote on possible "candidates" for the 2012 knife. Jump in there and share your thoughts if you think you might want to buy a 2012 knife.

Sorry for the glare but the lights are really bright and this was the best I could do at the moment.
