What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Still on this ol' thing! ;) :D

I've been carrying a Buck 55 as my office knife for the last few days. I bought it on a whim and didn't expect to carry it all that much, but it turned out that I really like it a lot.

My favorite: X-Timer 24OTX Sometime in 2003 or 2004 my wife and I were walking in Wally Werld and as usual I stopped in front of the knife case. I casually said, I really like the black scales and brass bolsters and liners and I really dig the titanium nitride coated blades on that knife. She went on her separate way looking at the women's stuff. I took off for the automotive section. Later on she gave me little box and a big smile... rather perceptive for a blonde I might add!

I had an impulse to pick up this Kabar jack for today. I find I really have an affinity for this jack pattern and the similar Barlow pattern. I keep the new 2001 easy open jack close by to handle and fondle. I think I may try to pluck off the top of a Rolling Rock with it in a bit just for grins, but the Kabar is my "duty knife" for today.

That is a very interesting one there, Nate! Never seen one like it before.

Love those removeable scissors.

Was too dumb to get in on this when I should have. However, a fine forumite fixed me up with this truly great knife.
Thanks again Charlie!

Thanks for link, Nate. I hadn't noticed the tanto-like edge or the tweezers earlier.

Very unique indeed.

GOOD to hear you got hold of one!

It's an exceptionally well-made knife, been popping a top or two from Czech beer with it today.

This week it's been a Case SS Sodbuster Jr. and I'm loving it. I avoided the sodbusters for a long time, thinking that they were too plain and that the quality was no good. This may very well be "my knife"!

Put this little Erickson Swayback gent in my pocket today.
