Ron, that's a very distinguished lambsfoot example you have!!:thumbsup::cool: I hope your Guardian version arrives ASAP!:)

That sounds like a very beneficial family dynamic, Travman!! ;):thumbsup::cool:

I'd say your new host passed with flying colors, Tom!:cool::thumbsup:
But, "How can you have any pudding if you don't COOK yer meat?" :D:rolleyes:

That's a charming couple of knives, Stuart!:thumbsup::cool:

Quite the polished pair of wood TCs, Dee!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Sounds like it came in handy, Stuart!:thumbsup:

Intriguing sawcut on your Camillus Barlow, Steve!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, H&S. :) Glad you found your camo Classic :thumbsup:; the camo covers are cool, unless you drop the knife outdoors when the camo is WAY less than ideal!:thumbsdown:

Thanks, Dylan; I had no idea I'd fall for the canoe pattern as hard as I did, but the first time I ever carried one, it was scheduled to be in my pocket for a week that turned out to be three weeks! Try it, you might like it!! :D Your wooden pair today is irresistible!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks for the canoe compliments, Mark & Ron & Paul! :)

These two Case knives have been getting a lot of kitchen chores for at least the past couple of weeks and are in the kitchen again this week:

That's why I put the neon yellow dice on there.

I've been rather busy the last several days and haven't been able to chime in much, if at all. Just getting caught up on some threads during some downtime at work. Lots of fantastic knives over the weekend, wish I could comment on them all!

I think I have complimented this knife before, but I must do so again, it is such a fantastic knife. Your picture really captures that gorgeous ebony so well.

Fantastic picture! I love the character that has been imbued into your knife, that walnut is wonderful.

Great duo! The woods on those TCs are just fantastic.

What a terrific and extensive assortment of Canoes, GT! I must admit, the Canoe has not captured my interest, as of yet. But when it comes to knives in particular, I have learned to say, "Never say never!" One of these days I will have to give the pattern a go.

I have these two with me today, an early "Wooden Wednesday", in a sense. I suspect one of them will likely be usurped by something that isn't wooden at some point tomorrow....

Emotive photograph . I sense rain :)

@5K Qs GT, I like that red RR and really like the pair of beautiful Cases, but I am still reeling from that canoe regatta that you posted. Just wonderful!

I got this 'new' 2011 knife ready for the pocket. You know ;), sharpened, adjusted, oiled and worked.

I am starting to love Queen knives! All three of mine have got issues. When you're finished fiddling with a new knife to get it workin' right, you get attached. I'll be taking this one apart and making a replacement spring for the pathetic lame dog pen blade, the spear is happy snappy. I wish I could just buy parts from Queen and put them together myself.
I'll keep buying Queens though, because I want them to thrive. I hear they have a new master cutler in the shop!

Even with my new cargo work pants, I can only carry two of these today. Left to right: Continental Cutlery Co.; Ulster Knife Co. NY; Hammer; Hammer Brand; Hammer Brand, New York Knife Co., Walden; U V B, Hibbard Spencer Bartlett & Co.

It will be the Hammers for knife talk with my buddies and slicing some apples (and a Vic Recruit for other cutting duties).
