View attachment 789609 Again...got its first battle scar across the blade yesterday finishing up the tile in the wife’s new “ mud room “. I really can’t say enough about this simple rugged good looking jack.
There is, based on the last 5 days of carry, a very good chance the Buck 303 has met its match. I’ve always loved the look of a swell end jack but for some unknown reason had never given one a fair shake as a tool until now. Very impressed.
Work earned scars are badges of honor.

Ill end up posting this little guy up a couple places today, but I just picked it up and its the only knife I snagged to go on any adventures the day might hold.

Word on the street has it that my Chestnut bone Peanut might come in the mail today so it wont lonely long!

Today, my rfp holds an old Cam 68 Premium Stockman and a Vic camper for it’s sawblade.
I could swear the 68 has bone handles, but am not positive. The main has almost zero snap, but for $6 at a flea market, I’m not complaining. Instead of a 3rd blade, it has a leather punch with the cool spirals.

I’m expecting to have to cut some 6” black plastic flex hose for patching broken field tiles, and a sharp and sturdy blade is more convenient than carrying a hacksaw diwn into a muddy trench.

Sorry about the lack of photos. Gonna have to buy a membership - lol.

Good looking pair, those bones go well. Doctor's knives have a nice sophistication about them.

Loverly red (my favorite color). Vibrance for all occasions.

carrying everything shown here except the coins and the box today.

SP101? Great gear all around, and especially nice photograph!

What sort of stockman is this? It looks really neat, and I kinda want one.

All ferociously edged and rarin' to cut. I bit this photo arrangement from @Ryouchijtx a while because I really like the way it looks.

It is a Chinese-made "Robert Klaas/Kissing Crane" "Four Master" knife, a reproduction of a model originally made in Germany. Unfortunately they aren't being made any more, as I really like the profile and blade selection, but they still pop up from time to time. They are very inexpensive but neat knives with really thin blade stock.

B68BE613-C48D-45BA-A60F-238EF0DB4AF7.jpeg Day 5 (of what will be 7 I think) of project keen/karry/kleen my carbons.

Fightin Rooster stockman with my bench grinder regroups Spey to a pen flavor blade. Love this knife. The more wharncliff flavor sheepsfoot is a deal maker! I may Stone the kick to let it sit a touch lower. The green jigged bone is very deep and rich.

I miss my fixed blades. Since I’m working a lot I haven’t been carrying one (on my side, still in my work bag).

My antique yellow Farm Boy is probably still my favorite knife from GEC

Here's a better photo of the Farm Boy to make up for the poor quality of those comparison shots. :D

I'm not sure if I have mentioned this before, Barrett, but your Farm Boy is one of my top ten favorite knives that isn't mine. :):thumbsup:

Seriously, the covers on that knife have so much color and depth I have to drag my eyes away. I can see why you like that one!

I'm carrying all-stag today, out of synch as usual! :D Have a good week folks

Speaking of favorite knives; this is one of yours that I particularly like how it looks, Jack. Another knife that just shouts, "look at me!"

Camillus C4. The usual.

I'm on a theme here, Buzz. Camillus just got this one right, nay, perfect!:thumbsup: Another favorite knife I like to look at. :)

My carries today are my ubiquitous winter knife, the Presidential, and my Case Jr. Scout. The scout is one of those knives that disappears in your pocket until it is needed. It's also a great CE and CF knife.

That Case is a beauty!!! They really do a wonderful job on those Jr. Scouts. Incredibly handy at such a small size, and not heavy in the pocket either. And the awl is absolutely sensational.

Thanks, Dean! I've always considered it to be a good looking knife in a very simple, understated sort of way... not unlike that Northwoods Presidential of yours! :D (To tell you the truth, many of the Northwoods releases aren't my cup of tea, but I'm pretty disappointed I didn't pick one of those up. If I remember correctly, around the same time I bought my Farm Boy -- which was well after they were produced; I don't think the Farm Boy was a hot seller -- KSF had a few jigged bone Presidentials just sitting on the shelf. I wish I would have pulled the trigger on one.)
