So very true. It was a sad shock to return from several days of fishing and hunting to find the news of Bob's passing. I read through all of the remembrances and tributes last night. Man, he touched a lot of people in a warm and wonderful way. It's hard to lose a great guy. You might find that because he's such a big part of you, he's still with you in a way.
"What a drag it is getting old!"
I can picture the cane, Jer!You guys have got my hip aching.
I've been thinking lately that I should carry a cane all the time, for banging on the floor when I gripe and grouse.
But here's a knife I haven't posted.

The bottom line is "HDW CO". The name on the handle is "CARDWELL".
It will be easy to find pocket space for it because it's incredibly thin.
Thanks, P&G.Nice carries GT, sorry my pictures have stopped showing up for you. Are others not seeing my pictures anymore? Is it just mine that are not showing up for you?
Thanks for the Peanut props, Ron....
Gary I can see why you are fond of that little Chestnut Peanut. It’s a nice one!I will admit to growing quite fond of my Lambsfoots, or should that be Lambsfeet!
...
Today I’ve got a Toms Choice and a Midnight Special

Yowza, Shawn, overheated knees sounds WAY less than ideal!Sorry to hear about your bum knee, GT. I have my share of knee pains, as well. My wife always freaks out when my knees are about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of my body at the end of the day.
You're dead-on regarding the background of my photo; no delicious desserts at work. Only lots and lots of mud puddles.
Love that Chestnut Peanut!
Congrats, Steve; very handsome Camillus Barlow! My new favorite Barlow today

Luxuriant Lambsfoot, r8shell!
Thanks, Ratbert.Good-looking Cannitler and Peanut, Gary.![]()

I carried these two beauties this week. GEC 25 Barlow in Polished Stag & 35 Churchill in Sambar Stag.
I have really enjoyed carrying the Churchill, but can I be satisfied with just this one? Can a Knife Knut also be a minimalist?
Thanks, Adam.Nice old school 110
It looks better each time I see it, Pt-Luso!Today in my pocket with a traditional Portuguese...

Thanks for the nutty comment, Dean!Thank you, Gary. Speaking of "nuts", that Case is full of peanutty goodness!![]()
THAT was a pic worth waiting for, P&G!!!Thanks everyone who responded. It appears that some people are able to see the pictures from my old image host and some are not. I am going to switch to a different host so hopefully everyone will be able to see the images again.
Here is the second image from the new host, PM me if it does not show.

Good to see you here, Mike!! That pocket-worn Harvest Orange jigged bone makes a fantastic knife cover!
Resplendent knife, JB!!View attachment 792828 Great looking knives! Im carrying my stag #35 on this beautiful Sunday. Its quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Thanks, Stuart.Top notch knives, GT. Really nice!

Glad to see the occasional trapper sneaking in, GT. Both knives are great picks, but I really like that hat!"What a drag it is getting old!"
I thought that reflection was an American football player with feet in a wide stance, white pants halfway down his shins, dark socks, dark jersey with short sleeves, and a dark helmet with white face mask. But I couldn't figure out why such a creature would be standing behind you as you shot your Guardians Lambsfoot!
I can picture the cane, Jer!That thin metal Shapleigh is very cool!!
Thanks, P&G.And thanks for investigating the photo situation.
Thanks for the Peanut props, Ron.Amazing pic of your Midnight Special - the grain reminds me of some micarta pics!
Yowza, Shawn, overheated knees sounds WAY less than ideal!Quite sure I've got a meniscus tear (or several); the symptoms are almost identical to what I had in the other knee 6 years ago. Thanks for the Peanut compliment (although I know you're rather biased in favor of peanuts
).
Congrats, Steve; very handsome Camillus Barlow!
Luxuriant Lambsfoot, r8shell!
Thanks, Ratbert.
Thanks for the invitation to the stag party, Ratbert!Couple of prime stag examples!
Thanks, Adam.

Couple of knives I didn't make time to post last week were a Rough Rider amber jigged bone medium trapper (as miscellaneous knife of last week) and a Sarge BSA Barlow (as a relatively-new knife not yet on my carry schedule, but I wanted it to get some pocket time):
