What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

For sure, Duckdog, that mini-trapper is one of the nicest I've seen! I'm still playin' with my new ram's horn #73.

Notice how the linerlock lever falls right between the two fingers for a nice grip.

Got back yesterday after a 4 day camping trip with my boy. I discovered I have a lot of catching up to do here...

Lots of beautiful knives posted here the last few days, puts my modest carry for the day to shame. At least they will cut, right? :D

Gorgeous trio Dylan, especially the Fletcher

The only thing modest in that post was its author. Nice knives, indeed.

Thank you, Stuart, I appreciate that.

That is a fantastic trio, Pàdruig Pàdruig ! Which Fletcher is that?

Beautiful Peanut, oldtymer oldtymer !

Thank you, Shawn!

It is the Pro 6-5 in O1. I picked it up used but I do think the covers are black canvas Micarta. I am really pleased with the knife, for as small as it is, it is remarkably comfortable. I am ashamed to admit that I had not heard of Dylan Fletcher until I came across this blade but I will certainly be paying closer attention to his knives in the future.

I love that #14 you are carrying today, by the way. I am not sure I have seen Black Cherry Sawcut before. Am I correct to assume that it is a darkly dyed bone?

I follow Fiddleback Forge rather closely, which is how I got exposure to Fletcher, Osprey Knife & Tool, W. A. Surls, and others. Those guys in Georgia have been on a tear.

The Black Cherry is very deep. It's only on the butt of the knife or under bright, direct light that you can see how pretty of a color it is.
