Breathtaking bone, big-league bolster, bewitching bi-bladed Barlow!! W

W, P&G!!!

I've been enjoying some of the tomatoes from my wife's garden, and the patina in coming right along.
That's a winner, Jeff!!

Put the finishing touches on a new hunting stand on the property. Now I’m overseeing a small brush fire and getting ready to shoot the rifles in for hunting season.
Stag companions.

Those are outstanding stag companions, johnny!!

Hope you get some stag companions on the hoof when the season opens!

This just delights me. Curious, how many knives are on this spreadsheet to mix and match?
I happened to enter my newer knives into the "for next update" section of the spreadsheet yesterday, so I have a fairly accurate count. The current 29-week schedule contains 183 knives in 10 categories, with a list of 27 knives that have to be added to the rotation for my next "edition". (The 183 may be a little high, because it came from adding the number of different knives I have in each category. But if I really like a knife, I may include it in several categories so I get to carry it more often.

For example, I probably have a Mercator Black Cat in my big knives list, my Euro list, and my bailed list. Those multiple listings probably get counted more than once in my quick-and-dirty approximation.)
I'm carrying this one today, and most days. Hard not to like John's stag knives.
Nice knives today, folks!
Since it's my pocket I'll post a new image of my Lloyd shadow trapper.
To add to the J. Lloyd discussion, here is my Lloyd stag slimline trapper.
It's an early knife, and has the simple J H LLOYD tang stamp.
I'll play. John's stag is top of the line.

Rob, Gary, Jeff, and Alan, I'll be sending you the medical bills after I'm treated for sensory overload!!!

I don't think of myself as someone in the market for a custom folder, but Lloyd stag examples almost always inspire second thoughts about my position!!
...
New week!

Hope everyone has a good one

I'm slipping these two in my pocket today
Couple of champions, Jack!

May none of your knives slip out of your pockets!

Again today. I cut a lemon up for the kids while playing outside with them and then forgot to rinse it for a couple hours. Left an interesting patina pattern.

You're an artist, SVTFreak!!

Wharncliffe Mini-Trapper today...
Sweet knife, Wayne!

I rarely carry a full-size trapper, but over the past couple of months, I've become a real fan of a mini trapper, and especially the spey blade. Is there a mini trapper with wharncliffe/spey combination?
Valuable versatility with that package, r8shell!

Boffo Böker Barlow, Steve!

Making their case for pocket carry today: a Case mini trapper (pattern 6207 from 1965-1869) and a Daddy Barlow (pattern 6143 from 1970).
...

Beguiling bone on both, Stuart!!

As I mentioned above, I've recently come to appreciate the mini trapper pattern, and yours looks unbeatable in both form and function!

Duncan, that's a good-looking knife with a great story! Thanks for sharing!
Jack, I always enjoy seeing those old style can-openers. I've never used one, but they don't seem like they would be all that great for opening cans (maybe slightly better than using a pointy rock).
I've been carrying my new #81 Bull Moose since it came in last week.
Congrats on the new Bull Moose, Barrett!

Thanks Gary. They certainly don't look like real stag but they aren't obnoxious either.
Yeah, it's an interesting jigging variation that can stand on its own merits, without the stag pretensions.

That is a SERIOUS blade on your modded Recruit, GT. Very impressive (and a bit scary).
- Stuart
Thanks, Stuart.

Now I have to learn to do that myself!
These 2 on a very rare Monday off work. Fantastic knives posted the last few days, thank you to all.
The blue Alox Farmer looks fantastic with that yellowish FB handle, Tom!

For sure, Duckdog, that mini-trapper is one of the nicest I've seen! I'm still playin' with my new ram's horn #73.
Notice how the linerlock lever falls right between the two fingers for a nice grip.
Cool photo, Jeff!!

Are you left-handed, or do right-handers always take "in-hand" photos of a knife in their left hand because they need the right hand for effective camera usage? (I've never tried an in-hand photo, but I think I'd have to do it as I described.)

Going minimal this week because I'm having a procedure done in a few days, and I don't need to have a whole bunch of stuff on me at the doctor's office.
Nice Recruit, H&S; best wishes for your impending procedure!!

Looks like you and your Cadet can both do it all, Clay!!

I am carrying my new buffalo Tuna today!

Fantastic knives, fabulous photos, Jack!!
